This shop in old Swan Liverpool is very clean, lots of items on offer to choose from. The staff are mostly friendly. I will say that there is a younger man in this store that stands out above the rest of the other staff members. His name is Muhammad, I'd guess late teens early 20s. He is so polite and caring and is a credit to the owners of this shop. It is as if it is his own business and appreciates every customer. If more front-line staff had his attitude, it would really make a difference. The times I've gone in to get the kids a desert or shake, regardless of how busy the shop is, he doesn't rush you to the next customer. Not that he's slow, just efficient in what he does. I also noticed that the customer's waiting to be served when it's busy have been happy to wait as they know the service he provides stands out against other members of staff. (Not that any members of staff are in any way bad at the job. It's just a quality that stands out against others) I've had 1 negative encounter here that is in no way anything to do with the service provided or quality of food/drinks. I am only mentioning this as I feel it speaks volumes to the staff and how much they care about it's customer's. I bought the kids a weekend milkshake treat. When I got back to the car with the shakes, the kids said they tasted funny. I tried them, and it did have a sour taste to the shakes. I took them back in and explained what was said, and they tatsed sour. Very surprised at this, he went back to check on the ingredients, and there was a milk or cream that had recently been opened as it had only been half full. He checked it and decided not to take any chances and discarded the bottle. He was genuinely disappointed in this happening. You could see that it wasn't a common occurrence by the way he conducted himself and could not apologise enough. I was offered replacements or something else in the shop for what had happened. I decided to leave it for the night as it put the kids off. (My kids have autism & are easily put off and very fussy, to the point that if they had the wrong fork, they would not eat the food) I told him that I didn't need a refund, as it wasn't his fault and had no way of knowing that a fresh bottle had something wrong with it. For his attitude towards the situation, his kind and caring approach to this is what made me leave getting a refund or replacement. A little bit of kindness and genuinely caring...
Read moreOur first time ordering from here and really impressed ! I had the white cookie dough with chocolate sauce and the make your own milkshake with malteaser and kinder sauce.
Unfortunately, I had to take away stars because I'm pretty sure I got a flake milkshake not a malteaser one and I ordered the extra toppings on the milkshake of the chocolate fudge brownies for an extra £1.40 which I was looking forward to and didn't receive them :(
Boyfriend ordered the brownie cookie dough and loved it - very filling though !
Would absolutely love to see a half and half option for cookie dough and maybe a dairy milk flavour milkshake ? Will be returning to hopefully try the...
Read moreOh dear.. where to start.. I ordered for the first time and got the white chocolate cheesecake, but it was actually vanilla cheesecake with white chocolate sauce on top. Also, the slice was about right for a 3 year old.
Also got the Nutella cake which had cream in, but this wasn't mentioned on the order page. I hate cream.
The biggest disappointment though were the mint chocolate mini doughnuts, which were supermarket style mini doughnuts which arrived at fridge temperature.
First and last time I'll order from here, the sweet treats seem to be bog standard straight from the back of the fridge fair and not delicious cakes...
