We waited over an hour for our food to come out, and when it did come out it was not what we expected at all (first pic). We ordered a sharer, and it clearly was not a sharer since literally one person could eat it. The portion of chips was abysmal, how are you supposed to share that between two people? Family members also waited for over an over for their food to come, and one of them received their food (second pic) which was a ridiculously small portion and they didn’t bring the correct food out, as she ordered ciabatta and they gave her corn. I really don’t think the chick ‘n’ mix is worth £11.29. They also didn’t have fries from an extremely early time in the day, what pub runs out of fries? The service was terrible, as we had to wait a long time in between finishing food and drinks for them to come and collect our plates and glasses. When we talked to a member of staff about the fact that we had been waiting for over an hour for our food, she apologised and said she will go and check, then mine and my fiancée’s food was finally brought out after waiting for over an hour. After we had finished eating, others were STILL waiting for their food to come. We then talked to the staff again and their excuse was “people who have ordered before you are getting their food first” which we know was not true as there had been other people coming in after us and getting their food before us. The server said ours will be next out, but we then watched her take food to at least 5 other tables before bringing ours over. When the other food was FINALLY brought over, the server apologised to the wrong people on the table about the wait. The dessert I ordered also didn’t include everything it said it would. The food was nice but the portion sizes were awful, as was the service. I believe it is well within our rights to be refunded, however we didn’t want to kick up a fuss in person since we already felt like there was no need to after the server lied to us about the food. It is also not accessible at all, the “accessible” entrance they have is an awful ramp that isn’t smooth and the walk across to the door isn’t smooth either it is so rocky. They also don’t have any accessible toilets. Avoid at all costs. I will not be coming back here again.

I wanted to book a late party for a 30th birthday in 2 weeks, when talking to Molly on the phone, I was given brilliant customer service, polite and informative..We came later in the evening to discuss in detail and spoke to sarah and molly, again could not fault the customer service from sarah or molly and the bar staff. Friendly,we didn't have food but what we saw coming from kitchen looked lovely.. this is the 2nd time we have approached jolly miller for a celebration and like the 1st time we have so far not been disappointed.. very impressed.. just to update.. we booked our party for a special 30th birthday, went for buffet instead of sit down dinner.. molly gave us the back of the July Millar for more privacy, we had a fantastic evening, food was delicious and plenty, drinks reasonable prices and customer service excellent.. Molly couldn't do enough for us, went the extra mile, thank you, highly recommended

When arriving there was someone hammering putting a shelving unit on the immediate floor area which carried on for about 30 minutes we only waited for about 10 minutes for the meal to arrive my wife had ordered an American burger which was nice, the only problem was the cheese was a cold slice put on top of the burger.my meal was completely different.i had ordered a sirloin steak medium and what I received was a fatty grisly piece of inedible meat ,I tried to find a piece I could eat but gave up .the waitress suggested I have another one but the chef had told her that all the meat was the same so it wasn’t worth me to have another one . We waited for the apple pie dessert but that wasn’t much better as as the pastry was lukewarm and doughy.we left taking the meat with us back home to give to our dog.we definitely will not be eating there again.

1st of all, I have to say this place was run on a very small staff team last night. If there wasn't covid 19 and a lack of workforce across the country our experience may have been much better. I will apologise for this review now. There was 2 large tables with Christmas decorations all on and around them. Obviously staff are still trying to sort and put their decorations up. Tables still had dirty dishes on. We had been sitting at our table 1½ hours before our starter arrived. The server took the dirty dishes away. We were told there was 1 hour for food. It was busy so, ok. Then I heard staff tell another table the 1 hour wait was due to no chef but, Front of house staff cooking. They had soup but, there was no bread, so they gave them a burger bun instead. When our meals came out my burger had been dropped on the floor and a new one was being cooked. Then the server said he'll bring some cutlery over. He had beef gone a couple if minutes and brought cutlery for the couple behind us. My husband went off to find cutlery and the sauce that should have come with his stake. Then man gave him an bottle of sauce. My hubby told him it is a different sauce that comes in a paper pot. That also a hunters topping was ordered so, that had to be cooked. Then my hubby started on his steak. It should have been medium rare, it was well done £16 it should have been cooked perfectly. They told us that it'll take 30-40 mins to cook it (nothing else is being cooked out there) because of it's thickness, now wonder it was over cooked. My hubby declined. Then there was no milk for coffee. There was 2 different cheesecakes on the menu, that they didn't have. I do understand the staff did the best they could under the circumstances. We have been in another flaming grill in Warrington loads of times and it been fantastic. My hubby got a refund for his streak and we had a free drink each, which we were not expecting. I wish the staff luck, with getting new staff, ordering stock gets sorted. I do hope we will return soon and give them a...

If i could give no stars i would. Just rubbish no effort put into cooking the food. My daughter got a pile of onions, burnt sweetcorn and soggy peppers as her veg dipsticks. I sent my meal back twice first the chicken was cold and like rubber, it actually looked like it had been dropped. They microwaved it and sent back a soggy bun and some cooked lettuce on a base of congealed mayonnaise. I sent it back again and it was still cool on the edges but better but i just ate it as i didnt want to disrupt my family again. More effort and care should be taken when you pay to eat out it's usually a treat this time it was just convenience but you still expect better. No respect for people who are using their restaurant, a waste of money.

Just an update as I think credit should be given not just complaints, although i am a bit late, as the duty manager contacted me the next day or so and was really helpful and dealt with the problem brilliantly. He was understanding and gave me options of how he could resolve the complaint including a return visit on the house or vouchers for most of the price of the bill. I opted for the vouchers as I was pretty annoyed. It's a shame that this was the situation and i hope that they are able to turn things around...
