On arrival we found no staff at the bar realising that the other side was busy we moved around to get some drinks and order lunch , unfortunately that's this was a after funeral we had intruder on , were snapped at by a member of staff ( this is a private ) I immediately apologise to a member of the family, and returned to the bar that now had 2 members staff we ordered 2 drinks & and got out of there as quickly as possible , the car park looks like the local tip , no way will I ever set foot in that establishment again , to avoid the public straying into private family functions this area might need to be condemned off in future , Can I offer my sincere apologies for this intrusion & offer my sincere sympathy on...

Came here with my whole family for a meal struggled to get a seat for 8 of us. Finally got a suitable table ordered drinks and food only to be told we have to move as they ‘forgot’ it was booked out. Came into another room which was absolutely heaving, squeezed into a space with my family only to have the staff keep banging into us every time he passed. There was lots of other seating but you can’t eat off a table that’s only knee high. What an absolute joke! No apology for messing us around nothing. This place does not cater for large groups but you’ll be ok if you want to put your feet up cos that’s all the tables are good for. Everyone is squashed like sardines in a tin! Won’t be going there ever again....

A very reasonably priced establishment. I'd even go as far as saying that it was cheap. The place does need a spruce up but if you haven't got the money in these uncertain times, you haven't got the money. Staff were pleasant and efficient. A large and varied menu that included a small selection of Chinese. There was even beef rib on it and you don't often see that on a pub food menu! We both ordered the beef rib with mash and although it didn't say gravy on the menu, the meals came out with a large gravy boat EACH. I was delighted. I love my gravy. Someone had recommended this place to my mate and I'd happily recommend it to you. I'm actually looking forward to going back and trying some...
