I don't do Google reviews but I've had a very unpleasant experience with 11 Coffee and Uber Eats. I ordered breakfast, coffee and cakes for two but when the delivery driver arrived he had the wrong order and admitted that he dropped it off to the previous person around the corner. OK, the driver should have been more careful with checking the order but I said not to worry as he seemed very apologetic. He cancelled my order so that I won't be charged.
I then reordered the same thing with a note to the restaurant asking them to check with the next driver that they deliver the correct order. Low and behold, the next driver arrived with only a couple of items and most of it missing. Obviously I wasn't happy that it happened again. The drivers English level was poor and it's no use arguing with him so he managed to cancel the order so I wouldn't be charged.
It's been over an hour with no food and I would be a fool to reorder. I tried calling the restaurant with no answer over a five minute period to explain what has happened and to query why they didn't check my second order without all my items, considering the failed first attempt. I called Uber Eats and their live manager (Shahzaib Syed) was not helpful at all. He didn't want to look at any resolution or compensation for their poor service and only offered me to reorder and he will call the restaurant to prioritise. As if anyone would give them a third chance for their business. He didn't even want to call the restaurant to see why they only gave a couple of items and missed the majority for the next second order.
I tried calling the restaurant and still no luck. Extremely poor service from Uber Eats so I would recommend Deliveroo as they also do deliveries from 11 Coffee. Read moreIt always makes me nervous when the wait staff don't write down your order. And I deliberately pointed at what i wanted on the menu to the guy - the mashed avocado with "poached eggs" & side of bacon. And he had to come back & reconfirm what side i ordered which only furthered my concerns. And what do you know; my order came out and wasn't what i wanted. It was just poached eggs on toast.
I guess i could understand the error but when i said this to the girl she said it's what i ordered & wouldn't even be able to do a side of avocado without having to remake the whole meal?? Maybe she misunderstood as English wasn't very good.
Food tasted good for how boring it was. Coffee good. Wife liked her mashed avocado salmon. Funky looking venue & was busy (another reason to write down orders!).
However since the service was less than average as never checked with me if i was happy with meal during or after so i could share my experience. And with so many other places around, sorry i won't be back.

Read moreI have a customer of the cafe for few years. I always go to the place with the same friend, never together so one gets few minutes before or after. Few weeks ago, got there first, ordered double expresso, when my friend arrived they got his usual breakfast without asking me if I would like to eat. I thought ok it happens, but yesterday another lady in the shop, came to the table asked my friend if he would like the usual and left without even asking me if I would like to have breakfast. When I said, you don't wanna aske me? She said I thought you only having drink! Would you like something with discussed face. That really annoyed me, and I said no thank you I don't. It is great cafe, good food, but the grumpy 😠 faces by some of the stuff, specially ladies makes everything else irrelevant.
