A&N Brothers Cafe — Restaurant in London

Very poor customer service! Tried to over charge me and when I questioned the bill she was really rude! For my two young children I asked for the set menu of 2 poached eggs on 2 two toast £3.80 each x 2, but asked the waiter if we could just have bread and butter instead of toast (which works out cheaper for the cafe as you’re not roasting the bread right?!) the waiter said this was fine. I then asked for 1 extra sausage from the menu for each of my children, which clearly stated was £1 each. I had cheese omelette chips and requested extra beans and also 1 sausage at £1. When our food arrived we were brought 2 sausages each, so I told the waiter only asked for 1 each, i suggested taking away but he said it was his error and I wouldn’t have to pay for this! As we changed the toast for bread and butter I was charged with creating our own menu which is ridiculous as it’s the same bread!!!! Plus we were also charged for 6 sausages instead of 3!!!! This place has been excellent! The owners are so friendly and always ask me how my day was and remember who I am when I return. The food is really good,too! They would cater for your needs and all at reasonable price! It's better than your average neighbourhood cafe as they do offer that personal touch. I love getting my breakfast there on the weekend but they also offer lunch and dinner options as well as Sunday lunch. I've eaten here many times over the past year and without exception the food has been consistently good. It's also great value for money.

The staff are always friendly, even when it can get busy during lunchtime rush, but it is not surprising this place is popular.

All in all a really great traditional Caffe with a passionate chef doing good food, something increasing hard to find now a days, well worth a visit.
