Visited this pub a few times over the last couple of weekends after recently moving to the area all the bar staff have always been very polite and attentive I have to give a special mention to a lady called Lauren who introduced herself to us and was happy Chat to us and get to know me and my husband she also was happy to give me and my husband a taster of the pride we decided to change our minds and share a bottle of wine instead but we was pleased we was offered a taste while we was deciding on what we wanted to drink. Good example of a friendly 'old school' pub. Being refurbished at the moment but in a way and style that doesn't interfere with your enjoyment nor ruin the pub's character. The wife tells me the ladies toilets are gleaming!

Nice little beer garden with excellent pergola area for barbeques. Decent range of beers and wines, including prosecco in 200ml bottles.

Plenty of tellies for just about all sporting occasions and a big projection screen for the main events.

This pub might not be everyone's cup of tea but I've had a few good nights in there. The manager is a top guy and even bought a couple of rounds in, bar staff are friendly even though there is a high turn over of them.
