Aetos — Restaurant in London

I rated this restaurant 4 star only because of service, our waiter was super nice and friendly and served us complimentary coffee/dessert at the end. Food was ok, however I think it’s not good value for money because the portion was poor. We ordered the mixed grill for two and all it had was 4 pieces lamb chops, two chicken skewers, and two coftes served on top of chips, and this item was £40. There was no sauce, no salad, no dressing, nothing else came with it, and I think for £40 I have had lot better. So my advice is never order the mixed grill platter even if you mistakenly came to this restaurant!! We ordered prawn saganaki as starter and it had 5 pieces of hardly medium sized prawns on a tomato sauce which was £9. Food tasted ok, but the portions were just terrible for the price. They charged 10% service charge on top, and for 3 adult and one child I paid about £93 and we were not even full after the meal! I booked a table for 12 people at 9:30pm on a Friday night for my birthday. They were incredibly accommodating and welcoming - a real authentic family restaurant where we got to know the waiters and their family. We were running a bit late and they very kindly stayed open extra late for us. The food was truly delicious and very well portioned. The red wine was flowing freely which was well priced and tasty. At the end of the dinner they surprised us with a bottle of champagne on the house to celebrate my birthday, and they lit and brought out my cake. We ended up the only people in the restaurant, having great chats in the lovely environment. Not good at all and the food was burnt no sauce’s with the salad also the food tasted very bland like they have not even been seasoned any of their food. That is why I gave it a one star. I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody as it is not a proper Greek restaurant. When they first opened the shop they would have had a Greece 🇬🇷 or Cyprus 🇨🇾 flag not an Albanian flag. Also too expensive for the amount of food that is served for 2 people as a mixed grill for 2 is £40 but I can go to any of the other traditional Greek restaurants and pay less than...
