The underdog Francis Road business no one seems to talk about, but one of the few that gets what the street needs: places to reliably get a seat and something nice to eat and drink. Francis Road is dying a slow death by good intentions at the moment, with businesses that are decent ideas in and of themselves (boutique homeware, bespoke picture framing, trendy hairdresser), but which do not encourage people to use the street as a place to gather.

Read moreThe best thing about this coffee shop is the name and outside paintwork. In my experience, I found that the selection of teas and coffees is something you can quite easily find on a Tesco’s shelf. It offers nothing new or unique.
Treated very rudely by the foreign lady behind the counter who then sat on the table outside next to me smoking a cigarette. A true display of terrible and poor etiquette, which is too far below acceptable standards.
A internal redesign, new staff and a selection of unique hot/cold beverages/cakes and pastries would transform this coffee shop to become a solid competitor to others...
