Ate in the restaurant and there was a large group being quite loud but not eating any food, and so the atmosphere wasn’t great unfortunately. I felt like I was interfering in a private party by being there.

Food wise everything was good, but I wasn’t sure about the bibimbap (£10.95 for a regular). There was lime juice, a creamy sauce, some raw spinach, crunchy unseasoned radish and beansprouts and a ton of fresh chillis.

I’m used to dolsot bibimbap which is served in the hot stone bowl and has more sesame oil flavours and an egg on top and I think I prefer that version. Although this one gave a lot of prawns, the veggies and rice were too plain and sour for me and it was hard to mix. Plus it got cold pretty quick.

The Kimchi was a huge portion for one person and wasn’t fermented as much as I am used to but was probably a good fresh kimchi for those who like that style.

The fries and fried chicken bites were hot and crispy which was nice and big portions and the sauce on the chicken was good. But not sure if it’s worth the price. I am curious about the “death sauce” and would maybe go back for the chicken bites on their own to try it. The loaded fries and Korean corn dog also...

First time eating at this place i saw the instagram post and it looked really good. I have been looking for a local halal place which serves korean food. Went with my siblings and we were not disappointed we ordered different things to try. The member of staff was very helpful her name was Suhur she gave us a 20% discount off the whole bill which was very generous. Food was served very quickly and the flavours were amazing. We ordered the cheese corn dogs which by the way are very big and tasty that cheese pull was worth the mess. The loaded beef fries were also really nice full of flavour and generous portion size aswell. We ordered the a Bibimbap bowls beef, chicken and prawns again all of them were delicious. And we could not leave out the wings we got the XL portion half bangbang gochujan flavour and half korean bbq. Every dish better then the next i cannot fault it wanted to order burgers but was too full from all these dishes. Will go again and try the rest of the food off the menu. The service was exceptional the member of staff Suhur was...

If I could I’d give three and half because although I didn’t like most of what I ordered , the food was fresh , delivery came fast and portions were massive . The staff really care about their customers I was given some extra Goyuzu because they were out of ingredients to give me three kimchee pancakes . Portions are massive , I’ve never had so much wings just for £7. Bbq Korean wings were a steal at that price and the the only item I throughly enjoyed . Smichi fries were also quite nice and fresh , they didn’t just put normal peri peri and give it a unique name and description , like most places do . Goru chicken wasn’t something I liked at first , but when I broke the chicken into smaller pieces , mixed it with the rice and salad , I wasn’t too against it .

Definitely recommend trying at least once to see if it was for you . Portion sizes are big and definitely worth value for money if you end up liking the taste .it’s nice to finally have a halal Korean place nearby even if it’s not the best...

The food at Zaxx was amazing! The customer service? Brilliant — I honestly couldn’t fault it. The food came out super quick too, which was a bonus! Let me just say, if you order their burgers , they come packed with flavour — no joke. And that burger? An absolute drum! They don’t go easy on the chicken thigh inside — it’s thick, juicy, and full of flavour. The only thing for me was that it might’ve been too big, just because it made it a little harder to eat, but if you’re after a proper, loaded burger, this is the spot. My favourite side? Definitely the fire prawns. Flavour: 10/10. Portion size: no complaints at all. I also tried the Korean sweet chilli boneless bites, and I expected small little pieces — but nope, they don’t play about with portions here. You really get your money’s worth. And to wash it all down, the Chulo drinks were the perfect match — refreshing, sweet, and paired so well with the food. Zaxx, you’ve won me over. I’ll definitely be back! 🔥🍔🍤🥤
