The food was bland, please add flavour to your chicken. The chicken thighs was cooked nicely and presented very well and the taste from the dish was lacking heavily. Unfortunate because the dish has potential.
We looked forward to trying patatas bravas, they told us they do not have it and it’s finished. Unable to order it was a shame because I did not opt for something else instead of it.
The pizza was good in texture taste and flavour, the calamari was good to order.
The Salmon fillet was cooked beautifully and mash potatoes as a side were smooth and buttery.
Majority of the menu is Halal which is a thumbs up.
The service was extremely slow, yes Alici restaurant was busy at the time me and my friends had arrived but standing inside the restaurant by the front door and waiting for a hour exactly for a table was saddening. We was kept moving out the way quite a few times for waiters to be able to move past us to throw black bin bags out by the entrance of the restaurant.
A lady offered us to sit at by the bar table with high stools and for dining with a group of friends not being able to sit across from each other when the purpose was to experience the restaurant with our time together for our dinner we did not want to. Maybe yes if we were ordering patisserie or a hot beverage and would not been around for longer than 10minutes we would not have fussed on that.
We particularly came to eat at Alici’s however the wait had ruined the mood for our meal. At the end of our time at Alicis when me and my friends all paid for our own meals separately the man charging us for our food told us one payment was not made for the meal and I gave him the calculations and corrected him to let him know all payments were made and accurate, a apology after that would have been expected but no we did not receive one and we walked off with the feelings from the strange and unusual service.
To conclude this review I will say the food is not worth the price as the food very much was bland apart from the pizza. The service needs...

💨: 1 x Savacco Black Mamba x Savacco Frozen Smurf 1 x O’s African King x Adalya Love66
Served using silicone funnel bowl and a chimney pan HMD. It took a while to get thick clouds, but didn’t get a chance to have a good session as we were swiftly asked to depart due to 2 hour policy (having only started the session in our last 45 mins as we were fasting).
🎼 Music: Music was a bit too loud for my liking as was not able to hear my friends! It was a Saturday, so perhaps avoid Friday/Saturday if you want to converse with people!
🍔🥃 Food/Drinks: In all honesty, the food did not meet the expectations considering the bill at the end. We ordered the following:
3 x lentil soups 1 x hummous 1 x lahmacun 1 x kofte 1 x chicken shish 1 x sea bass 1 x smash burger
2 x cokes 1 x smoothie 2 x coffees 1 x Turkish tea
Kofte was a bit too dry and overcooked. Lahmacun was brilliant!
We did want to have desserts but could not order as we had to leave, had to rush drinking my tea!
🧧Bill: It came to ~£200 for 4 people.
🎎 Service: Service was excellent in terms of attention to table and ability in able to order additional items.
🧐 Final thoughts: Would I come here again? Most probably not, perhaps the management may wish to reach out due to this honest review/feedback.
I should add that we did leave disappointed as the whole evening felt quite rushed. We arrived at the venue at 7:10pm and left the venue at 9:15pm. We arrived slightly early to ensure we could order and receive food on time to break fast at 7:45pm, from previous experience of dining out during Ramadan. We appreciate that there was a 2 hour table limit, however we were told that this would be from the moment we placed our order. Perhaps, we should’ve only had food and continued the evening elsewhere - which we...
Read moreFood was awful, service was worse. This place is a hotspot for young people who want to do shisha and socialise, which is great for them. But if you’re going out to EAT - then this place is not for you. The ‘smash’ burger was just a normal under-seasoned overpriced burger - insulting to smash burgers, it also was not hot, barely warm. The garlic bread was way to thick and bready, the chips were undercooked and soggy. The chicken tasted basic and had burnt bits and was swimming in oil! It was also undercooked (recipe for food poisoning) I sent it back and asked for lamb - when that came it was dry, and tasteless. The meat tasted cheap. The mains stated it comes with ‘mixed veg’ it came with 3 half pieces of mini salad potatos and 3 pieces broccoli? That is not mixed veg. The dessert was crushed cornflakes with melted chocolate and strawberries, it was decent but not for the price. The service, well we waited 10 minutes till anyone even noticed us. Their were a million waiters and not one came over. As you enter the restaurant, there is a bar top full of dirty dishes and left over plates and glasses- right at the entrance, I knew as soon as I entered I should’ve turned around. The drinks were really nice. But this is not a bar, it is a restaurant and I was shocking appalled by how bad the food was. The problem is, the food looks good online but it was so bad - I’m sorry. This restaurant is up there, with one of the worst I’ve been too. It is a shame because I’ve heard good things, but I was so disappointed with the food and bad service, they seem to only give attention to the shisha area, and not dinner area, a lot of money wasted. There was no air con, it was sooo hot where we were sitting, we asked if we could move outside, we were told that area is only for shisha, then they should have air con inside, duh. How can such a expensive restaurant not have air con in the dining area? Ridiculous. If I could give no...
