Absolutely Disgraceful Experience – Avoid at All Costs

Ive never felt more unsafe or disrespected in a coffee shop in my life. This place doesn’t do table service, which would be fine if the staff weren't so aggressively rude when asked simple questions or given polite feedback. When I brought up a concern, the woman at the till completely lost it—shouting, swearing, and behaving in an extremely threatening manner. At one point, it genuinely felt like she was about to physically attack us.

To make matters worse, she refused to give me a receipt and didn’t return my £1.10 change. I tried to de-escalate the situation calmly, but she flat-out denied me my money and continued to act unprofessionally. This is not how any business should operate, and frankly, people like this should not be in customer service—let alone running a business.

Save your money and go somewhere where basic respect and professionalism are...

I am a regular customer and this cafe is amazing when it comes to food. I usually order a meal and get a cold drink with it. However, there is a female employee which states that it's not allowed to do that. Even if a coffee (included in meal) costs the same as a canned drink. All other employees are fine with this exchange of items, or even a water (my girlfriend doesn't drink coffee and gets a water instead). Furthermore, today I specifically brought this up when ordering that I want to exchange my coffees for other same priced drinks and she said it's fine. But then wanted to charge me extra when paying. Her attitude was disgusting and disrespectful as if I was a beggar for wanting to exchange my items even if we are regulars. Let alone that the price of canned drinks is £2 and they buy things from across the street for 60p. I am not going to be visiting...

I ordered a roast lamb on Sunday. When I tried to cut the lamb it was very tough and totally dry!!! I tried a bit of it and it was horrible!!!! Unfortunately this is by far the worst lamb I’ve ever tasted and I can’t understand how they served this to me?!?!?!? I ate the vegetables because I was very hungry but they weren’t particularly nice either. When I went to Pay I explained that the Lamb was horrible and they said sorry and gave me a bit of a discount. I still had to pay £10 for that horrible meal, I don’t like to write reviews, but I felt I had to because it was so bad!!! I’ll never ever visit this...
