Today I took my family out to Al Qalaa in Park Royal for Eid. There was about 15 of us and be pre booked a table. My experience today 04/06/19 has by far been the worst I have ever experienced in a restaurant/buffet. We paid £22 per person for a buffet that consisted of hummus, salad, 5 different types of rice, vegetable sauces, undercooked chicken and only shish kebab that was being served by restaurant employees in portions only. I was told by staff that management had instructed them to only give people two pieces of shish kebab per person. This was slightly confusing as I believed to have paid for a buffet. There was a complete lack of meat and waited for about 20 minutes before complaining to the lady behind the till. She kindly advised me she would speak to the manager as there was queues of people waiting and wondering whether any meat was being served. After another 15 minutes of nothing, I asked to speak to the Manager as this was unacceptable. Queues of people wondering and questioning the staff weird behaviour - I was at one point told to stop behaving.
When I finally approached the manager and explained to him my disappointment in the food selection and treatment of your staff to paying customers was unacceptable he responded by walking away from me. I at this was absolutely fuming - I am a paying customer and the manager didn't even want to address my issue. We got into a heated conversation at which about 25 other people joined into the conversation to express their own disappointment. I was at this point very happy to walk away and just leave but the arrogance and disrespect we as paying customers were shown today by at least 3 members of staff, I asked for a refund of my money without having even touched their food. I was met with hostility and further disrespect. At this stage the manager closed the doors of the restaurant and all the people that were standing there requested a refund too.
I could not believe what was happening there. I don't recommend anyone to go here. The food looked amateurish and the people that actually got to sit down and eat told me that they should've gone to Royal Nawab in Perivale.
Thank you for ruining our Eid dinner.

Read moreWe went to break our fast at iftar time & we couldn’t have had a worse experience.
We had made a reservation in advance and arrived when it was time to eat. We stood in the line for the food as it was very busy, which was expected, and when we came to serve ourselves, there was no food left? We had to scrape the starters and there was no sign of any renewal. We then carried on to the main dishes, where there was no serving spoons for most of them & all the meat dishes had ran out. All that was left was some rice. The Sides had all ran out besides the Kubbah, which was very very undercooked. We repeatedly asked when the food would be renewed as we came to an ‘all you can eat buffet’, prepared to pay £19 per person. Every time we would ask a member of staff, they were unsure and all said that they don’t think there’ll be more food. My family were all hungry & had never come across a buffet that was running out of food? Considering how busy it was, it was unbelievable. We then asked to speak to the manager, who was very rude and not understanding at all. He didn’t believe that we had such little amount of food on our plates and thought we were lying and had eaten it, but if he looked around he’d see that all the food had run out and being at a buffet, regardless, there should be more food for us to renew. He refused to compromise or understand and we paid for 2 people out of 7 and left the restaurant. We were all fasting and then had to go and find a different place to eat. Awful experience and do not recommend to anyone going to eat during Ramadan. On a good note, the decoration was very nice and it was a shame that we couldn’t have...
Read moreWent to try out the place for iftar. We reserved a table for 3 people. We arrived a little late and as soon as we entered the manager made us pay which we thought was what everyone else had to do. (Soon found out this wasn’t the case) The woman that welcomed us in was very polite and courteous. She seated us and notified the staff to serve us water and dates. We waited for the queue to die down and then got up. Starters had all but finished and there was no sign of a refill. As we moved onto to mains we could see that there was a continuous trend of empty containers that weren’t getting refilled. So we loaded up on plain rice and salad and took a seat. After 10 mins I got up again to see what they had refilled only to see nothing but chips, khoubba and samosas were coming out. The Khoubba were frozen from the inside. Not 1 or 2, BUT ALL!! Went to speak to manager who couldn’t care less and when asked up the empty food he said that we missed our opportunity to eat even though this was advertised as an “all you can eat” buffet. The manager has no customer service skills which is a big shame as the restaurant has nice decoration and nice staff but he is a piece of nasty work. We demanded our money back and left to eat elsewhere. WOULD...
