This is by far the best healthy solution for both weight loss and fitness. The daily protein, carb & fat allowance is calculated on your exercise level, which they track through your smart watch and app, (literally little to no updating to the app). The meals arrive ready to eat fresh every morning, and can be heated if you choose. It has allowed me to nip between meetings to the fridge and grab a healthy tasty meal that is so filling, and is gluten free, low carb, calorie measured for my goals. (Other options are available like muscle build, etc) Two massive things I've noticed. Game changers for me:
I'm losing weight but gaining muscle (no weight training or anything like that) - I do 30 mins cycling a day on Zwift.
I'm full all of the time, and have SO MUCH ENERGY, that motivation to get on to Zwift or any exercise isn't necessary, I just find myself doing it now. (New PB's at least once a week too). I'm able to push myself through pain barriers I never knew I had, and I'm enjoying it.
Finding the time to cook food, let alone prepare it is tough, add to that being a single parent. These guys deliver fresh healthy meals ready to eat or heat, every morning to your door. Read moreI want to update this. I decided to give fresh fitness food another chance and I am glad I did. They have improved the food, the deliveries, and support. A nice person called Georgie has been helping me and is giving very quick answers to my questions. I changed over plans and they seem to be a lot better too. So changing my rating from 1 to 4. Be aware, trials automatically roll over and even if you stop the meals you will be charged. A refund will cost you 10%, for up to £65.
On the food front the only positive was that the food is fresh, but bland and tasteless. They also sent me the same meal twice in one day, with the only difference being fish instead of chicken.
Snacks are not worth the money.
I couldn’t do anything with the app apart from log what I’ve eaten. I couldn’t cancel a delivery, couldn’t change an order to remove snacks, I couldn’t view my receipt, so I had to go through support which would take a while.
I actually gained weight on their weight loss program due to the tasteless food causing me constantly crave more food with flavour.
I looked up some of their nutritionists on LinkedIn and their ‘senior’ nutritionists were straight out of university with this job being their only job.

Read moreWe are in the middle of week three and experiencing a change of heart. The first week we loved, but we were new to meal delivery services, so it felt new and healthy. Now, however, we feel like the food is very repetitive. The same spices get used over and over again and they seem to love cabbage. I’ve never eaten so much cabbage in my life. I wonder if this is because cabbage is one of the cheaper and easier vegetables to cook.
We tried the breakfasts but they were ridiculously sweet. This makes me question whether a nutritionist is actually involved in the meal planning, since no sound nutritionist should start someone’s day with mouthfuls of sugar.
Some foods don’t re heat well and whilst they say on the website that you can microwave or oven cook, the packaging contains zero instructions for the latter.
Customer service is great. But if the food is bad and the planning poor (e.g cabbage twice in one day, cauliflower and the same fish 3 days in a row), then unfortunately, it fails to meet our needs.
I put our order on hold and tried another food service the other day. Was blown away by the variety of dishes and quality of the food. So I think for now, we are going to cancel our subscription and give other companies a go.
