Ammasbuckets — Restaurant in London

Ordered from Uber Eats. Order #13F65. The whole order was cold to a point - it felt like they took it out of the fridge and just chucked it in the plastic bag. Cold as it was, I tried it. Royal hyderabadi biryani was bland. The chicken’s taste in it was horrible. The texture was a few days old. Fish cutlets turned out to be fish balls. Not as shown as on the picture in the menu. Few days old too. The only okay-ish thing was the mutton roll. Less than 2 days old. The texture wasn’t that horrible. I have had a wonderful experience before. Sad to say the inconsistency is ruining it. It’s like gambling. You eat nice once and the rest of the times you don’t. Ruined my perfectly fine day. For the first time I ordered from Amma and below are what I noticed and could say:

1. Food was delivered on time.
2. When the food was delivered it felt like I was just served from the kitchen, cos it was so hot (heat). As if I served the food from the pot/pan.
3. The mutton curry had a totally different taste compared to all other Sri Lankan restaurants around here and it was great. The mutton was succulent and was melting in the mouth.
4. Mutton fry was so amazing and the meat had a lot of flavour, I even ate it the following day after refrigeration and the taste remained same or tasted even better and still it felt like fresh (didn’t harden).

Ordered 3 Biriyani Bucket for party. I was meant to collect this order by 5pm, but unfortunately I came back from hospital for treatment for my Sciatica. Without knowing my difficulties, the owner took time to organise someone to drop the food to me. I explained my situation and appreciated all the help he went out of his way. More so, the food was amazing. We ordered 3 buckets as well as veg & non veg short eats. It was delivered hot and fresh and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. It was worth the money we spent for good quality food. May I also point out, there was a lot of meat potions inside the bucket compared to other restaurants. Well worth the money for what we got.
