We gave this a go last week. What a gem. The best Ethiopian food I’ve had in London and charming and welcoming and patient service. The atmosphere was super friendly and we had a good chat with Brok, the owner. I believe the spices, I think it was, or maybe the grains too were imported from Ethiopia to ensure the highest quality. Had an amazing meal here for my birthday with a large group of friends. Wish we'd left a longer time between booking our meal and the next activity we had booked in, as it tool a long time for the food to come which meant we had to reschedule our other booking. However, food was absolutely worth the wait as it was delicious! Really intense flavours, good combinations of meat and vegetable dishes, plus perfect injera. I had such a wonderful experience at Ayat V Lounge! The place is nice and clean with a warm atmosphere. The vegan food was excellent, with plenty of variety. I tried the vegan platter (also called Beyantu in Amharic) and it was absolutely delicious—flavourful and beautifully presented. The service was amazing too, especially from the best owner/waitress Sara, who gave such genuine hospitality and made us feel so welcome.
