Had Seafood Crispy Noodle, Hot and Sour Soup and BBQ Pork with rice tonight. Sad to say all three dishes have totally failed our expectation (with the amount spent). The pork was nothing but dry and think-cut, the mixed/gravy BBQ source was just horrible. The hot and sour soup (with meat) was simply tasteless, and the Seafood in the Crispy noodle was NOT fresh at all.
Needless to say that with such disappointment, we have not finished our dishes.
I could have bought some packaged BBQ pork from Loong Fung Supermarket near by, microwaved it and it would still taste better. I could have bought the frozen seafood bits from Morrisons and it would still taste better.
For the amount they charge, I totally felt that we have been scammed. With such competitions, I fail to understand how they can survive this below-standard quality. I gambled on their quality and I have clearly failed.
The person who has served us also could not understand Hot and Sour soup, what a joy! I had to find the picture and point it to them.
Anyways, if it is that hard to cook properly, why operate a store there!? It is giving Chinese food a BAD NAME. Let someone else, who can do a better job with passion, takeover the...
Read moreFood was dreadful, as in there was no sauce on it. They could of added as least abit of Oyster sauce or anything. There was no vegetables so I couldn't comment on it. The beef was the worst bit which was dry as in you could tell that they cooked the beef earlier and left it at least an hour as maybe they made the wrong order. Sadly they reheated it and given it to us. I wish they made at least an effort where they added alot of vegetables just to cover how bad the beef is to keep a customer happy. I could of got this from a 1 star Chinese takeaway and probably like that more than this. The worst bit is that I paid £12.80 for just noodles and smallest speck of recooked Beef (they cut the standard of beef you get from a meal to make it look more - probably 8 standard pieces) I gotta say, this I don't ever post a Karen review but it had to be said.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreBaffled reading some of the negative reviews on here. So much so I nearly decided not to make the 2 hour journey to try the foodhall out but Bamboo Hut was one of the top vendors in the Bang Bang Foodhall.
I had the black pepper chicken which was spiced so well. Immediate hit of strong black pepper which was simply delicious, the crispy chicken was nice and crisp with a succulent centre. Smokiness from the wok really rounded off an excellent flavour profile.
Reason it wasn't 5 star for me is that I would've liked to see the option to exclude rice, just because there is so much else to try here that a whole portion of rice for me was slightly too much.
Otherwise, great experience, really added to overall experience and were accommodating in providing my friend with extra...
