Little Thai Silk at Bang Bang Oriental Foodhall — Restaurant in London

The food is ok, without a doubt not authentic by any means but they taste ok. Don't expect any kind of service, you order you pay and you go and wait for your food, simple as that.

The menu is definitely a bit of a hit or miss and the truth is I almost always order the same one or two dishes anyway 😀. I like their whole sea bass in curry sauce which has good flavours and the price is very reasonable. Recently they added some noodle dishes and I absolutely love the mixed meat noodle, generous portion size with good flavours. The only thing I don't like is the dipping sauce which doesn't quite work with the beef.

I ordered the Pork Leg Stew on Rice (Kao Ka Moo), but unfortunately, it was not enjoyable at all. There were many pork hairs on the skin and even in the sauce, which made the dish inedible. It seems the pork wasn’t properly cleaned before cooking ( burn and removed the hair ) . The flavour was also extremely sweet, and I ended up throwing it away ( not a single bite ) . Loved the whole experience, worth the drive for my birthday!. As a foodie it was so exciting, to see all the different Asian foods!. Something for everyone..

Tips: Get there at 12 if going on a weekend, as it gets busy!.

Make sure you have extra money, as there is so much too try.

Ask for take out tubs, (if not a big portion eater like me) as it’s a lot of food that can’t be eaten all at once!.
