Berliner German Doner Kebab & Pizza — Restaurant in London

The place is very appealing, looks clean and well run and the menu is interesting and well presented. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and I was excited to try their food for the first time. Ordered mixed meat on rice with salad. Good stuff: The rice was perfectly cooked, succulent and tasty. The salad was very fresh and crisp, garnished well with fresh lemon slice and jalapenos. The sauces supplied were plentiful and I absolutely loved the chili sauce. It tasted homemade with just the right amount of fire. The garlic sauce was creamy and tasty and the salad sauce was also very good. The chips that my sister ordered were also very good. Less good: My only problem here is the meat. There was lots of it and it looked good but sadly it was just too dry for me to give this place a top review. It wasn't inedible or terribly unpleasant but I was really hoping for juicy and succulent. My sister agreed that the meat was too dry. Bottom line is that I liked enough of what I saw to go back and try again. There are so many kebab places to choose from so to be good you have to get everything right. OK SO when I went on holiday to Germany I tasted the most amazing German Doner, literally thought nothing can compare. Once back in London I tried the typical German Doner in Stratford, did not quite fit exactly how I tasted it back in Germany. I heard that a new place was opening near me so I decided to check it out. And OH MY GOD I literally can’t believe how amazing it tasted, honestly it tasted way better than the Doner in Germany. The flavours were amazing and the combinations are so clever and different, never heard of those combinations being in a doner, tried a couple and they were amazing. I especially love the Pomm Kebab and Ottoman. If you’ve ever been to Germany you would know the doner they have is great, this is exactly that! Over 18 months we have had 3 Ubereats from there. They have come in timely manner but each time the orders have been incorrect. Ie wrong item or incorrect döner sent. This time round we had wrong fries and hardly any sauce on the döner. Literally 3 bites and the sauce was gone. Unlikely to make this a regular. The döners were nice - just make sure you got your own sauce at home.

Feed back : I rather have my sauce on the side as a pot if you are only providing a spoon full. And no I won’t order your extra sauce, for all I know it might be just an additional spoonful. Why are you being so stingy on the sauce?
