Very nice staff, nice portions and tasty food. Went with my family yesterday. The shoulder meat was soft and rice flavourful. Family room downstairs is one of the best we have seen. However we will not be returning anytime soon because 1) there was a horrible ammonia / toilet / urine smell which was strong in the whole restaurant, the manager said they have a problem with the smells from the flat above but they will fix this this Ramadan, it puts you off your food, 2) the food gets cold very quickly, it is not hot, but not stone cold just room temperature when served, that means after 15 minutes it starts to get very cold, 3) when packing leftovers they charge £1 per foil container, this was the first time I have ever been charged for this in any restaurant and they don't tell this to you what they give it, it's just on the receipt. They should tell you first and if they want to charge, it should be at what they pay which is 23p each. This was a bit of a shame. This restaurant can be top quality with some changes and we would return again and again if it fixed these issues. Hopefully they...
Read moreWhere should I start.. the food is dry and over cooked the staff are absolutely ridiculous they have no manners they are not professional. They do not welcome you into the restaurant they sit there on there phones. It's more like a Somalian house than a restaurant the tables are dirty the cutlery have dry food stains on them. They do not respect there customers when they are eating they scream at one another across the room. They reply WHAT rather than pardon. Since Ramadan they have become greedy and put the prices up for the menu since then there restaurant has been quite. I would be ashamed to even think about bring my family here. The toilets are revolting water is everywhere on the floor to the seat. The Somalian ladies that cook in the restaurant give you dirty looks. I would not want to imagine what happens in the kitchen. There Hygiene has gone out the window the food will come quicker out your bum then it will in your mouth.
Unfortunately I won't be returning again. I would avoid going to this particular restaurant I...
