Composer / pianist POV: Guy with ginger man-bun was the honestly the most hideous little jerk I have ever met. I lost about 35 minutes while he and a colleague both ran (sorry ambled) around the studio trying to find leads that worked, jacks, etc and swapped out the Yamaha for the Nord more times that I care to remember. Further disruption was added to our booking when I was unable to connect with a musician via WIFI because, well there was no WIFI in studio 2! After loosing an hour of my booking to faffing and a failure to set the studio up with the right equipment before our arrival, we had to move to Studio 5 but was told we had to be out by 6! I'd never return obviously. Obvs irked that I paid for an hour that was lost to what are clearly poor decisions on...

Blue! Rehearsal studios like Blue are RARE in any city. The kitchen is great, with a large hang out area but most importantly the staff are dam helpful and friendly!

The amp gear and backline are in great condition and although there may be occasional nasty drum harware, it'll be quickly changed by staff and a box of cymbal felts and a clutch are supplied with each session (RARE!).

The hire gear is excellent and the prices are so low, I'm glad not to have to bring breakables to a rehearsal.

Used it as a rehearsal room several times. Clean, tidy, well equipped and competitive prices. It's friendly, I've found staff helpful and there's a cafe area with coffee and basic nibbles, plus spare strings etc.. Additional guitar amps, keyboards etc. cost £5 or thereabouts.

There's quite a few rooms and film companies appear to use the larger spaces. There is some parking - at least for unloading, but if you want to park up for more than 5min best to check before you arrive as the space is often occupied by large trucks etc. (presumably to do...
