You got an absolute hidden gem with this dog-friendly, deliciousness-producing place. It is so unassuming outside, and so simple inside, you assume it can’t deliver anything special - but you’d be wrong! Every time I get something from this place, it is top quality. I remember getting my first coffee from them and my friend was laughing at me because I said “mmm” every sip. Got a takeaway soup another time and it was like my own mother made it. Went in for noodle Tuesday today and they were so good. The noodles were really tasty, nice and saucy but not swimming in sauce; plenty veg - peppers, cabbage, carrot, onion, courgette and mushroom - and the chicken was moist, generous in portion, cooked in its own tasty sauce and piled high on the noodles. Got a spiced chicken mayo sandwich for my husband that could have doubled as the keystone for a cathedral. Massive focaccia toasted spicy chicken mayo beast. Crispy on the outside and fluffy focaccia goodness on the inside. Fresh salad. High class sandwich. No skimping on the filling. Got the whole lot with a ginger beer for under £10. The staff are *so* nice in there and you can see into the kitchen, which means they’ve got nothing to hide. Out the back is a big playing field and a small children’s play area so the kids can have a run round while you have a sit down. Did I mention they are also dog friendly?! I don’t know why, but this place is always a little quiet. I really think it’s because when you walk past it looks like a library. And it’s not on a Main Street. So if you’re local to the area this is definitely the sort of place you can say to someone “I know a place” and they will probably not know it and likely be impressed.

Really Enjoyed my Vegan Lunch today. Haven't been for a while. I will return sooner rather than later.😋😁 30/06/2022 Today I went to eat out with work friends, have a catch up and enjoy lunch together. So glad we did. Really enjoyed my lunch today I was hoping for my sandwich that I had before. But times change and new people so new menu. Looks the same but they have new screens up for COVID. I haven't been for over 2 years because of covid, so it looks alittle different. I didn't take s picture of my food. It looked and tasted great. I had spicy chicken mayo sandwich. I can't remember what the bread was called. But it looked good and tasty. I remember eating it and thinking its quite messy. But I didn't care. Me and 4 other girls had the same sandwich. And all said the same. The only thing I would say was I thought it was a little greasy and I don't like too much oil. My hands were very shiny from the oil and had to use many serviettes. Other than thay it was a really enjoyable lunch. I had a white coffee and nearly dropped my mug because my hands were greasy and the green mug was extremely heavy. Next time I'll goo for a takeaway cup. Which I normally do. But it was so lovely to go back there and enjoy a lunch with friends. Thanks Bow brew

Bow Brew Cafe is a fantastic community cafe that operates from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and offers free Wi-Fi. They serve a wide variety of drinks and food at affordable prices. You can enjoy a vegetarian special of the day for just ÂŁ4 or a meat special for ÂŁ5. My personal favourite dishes at the cafe are the beef lasagna and the fried chicken with wedges.

There is no clear opening times displayed on the door. Google says 8, St Paul's Way website 9, so you pick which one is it. I've knocked on the door, as it was 8am to ask what time they open,as there was lady wiping tables and I thought she'll know for sure. She completely ignored my knocks and then a guy, skinny, tall, unshaven and unhealthy looking aggressively opened door to tell me not to knock, that they open 8:30. He was very rude and aggressive in his voice. I was not intimidated one bit, but someone vulnerable might be.

He should be trained in how to talk to people....
