Mary at the childrens centre is RACIST and targets vulnerable mothers. You should be ashamed of yourself. LBTH needs to safeguard the childrens centre better. A white woman who arrived with a school aged child who admitted to not being the mother of the child and not from the borough was welcomed with open arms by Mary whilst an asian woman from the borough, clearly in need of the services, with 3 children was separated from her eldest child by Mary and the poor girl was left out in the rain. The centre was not busy and the little girl was not causing any problems at all. I do not want my child learning that it is ok to exclude people based on skin colour. Shame on you Mary and shame on your colleagues for allowing you to behave this way. You are old Mary not stupid, you know exactly what you are playing at. Take a good look in the mirror.
Use your policy correctly Mary, there was no guarantee that this white woman was telling the truth about who’s child she had brought in or why. There was no way to check who she was either as she was out of borough. For the safety of my child I left as clearly LBTH dont care about safety....
Read moreI recently visited the local children’s center, and I have to say, it’s a hidden gem in our community! The highlight for us was the massive aquarium that captivates both kids and adults alike. The vibrant, colorful fish and the beautifully arranged aquatic plants create a mesmerizing underwater world that my children couldn’t get enough of. It’s not just an aquarium; it’s an educational experience as well. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to answer curious little questions.
The rest of the center is equally impressive, with a variety of interactive play areas, learning stations, and cozy reading nooks. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a space that is both fun and enriching for children of all ages. If you’re looking for a place to take your kids where they can learn, play, and explore, this center should be at the top of your list. Highly...
Read moreToday was a lovely day, children had a joyful day. Today celebrated my friends sons 13th birthday. Having everyone together was just beautiful. It wasn't too packed which I was quite surprised at for a Saturday. Buy there was enough people. Our children made friends which was a bonus and made us parents happy, because thats how it should be. A place where kids can be kids away from technology. This place helped and made children feel they don't need to worry about being 9 years old or 13 years old, all ages are important and having fun with friends is hows its meant to be. 13 years is a really hard year, it an inbetween year and to have all your friends in a park with no technology except pics was the icing of the cake. Had the...
