Wow ,amazing burger patties and great 1st experience. Had a grilled chicken burger, cheesy fries, halloumi burger and sloght teak on the normal standard burger. Banging burgers! Just a few minor things for me which I hope you take on board as constructive feedback to get you to perfection. Firstly ,personally I don't think there is any need for cucumber in burgers. Just doesn't work. There's nothing worse than eating warm cucumber! Heard of cool as a cucumber? That's how they should be eaten but that's just my take. They were out of place on the halloumi burger and grilled chicken burger. I would also highly recommend shredding or cutting your humongous lettuce leaf. It just slides around too much and creates a slight barrier for when you want to take a bite into your burger. With sauce all over it you get a mouth full of sauce and lettuce leaf before the bite you want from.maim body of the delicious burger. Lastly one of my biggest gripes is wet, soggy bread which I sometimes find in sandwiches and it really riles me up!. Luckily food was so decent I let it pass but only just. Guys you need to toast your buns more if you arent allready. You also need to let your meats rest a little because all that juice is making your burgers sloppy and overly messy. You will see what I mean from the pic. Appreciate that I can make my own burger how I like it. I did make a few additions and boy did it make a difference. Overall some great food, great price and I will be back to try out the rest of the menu for sure! Great burgers, probably the best I had to be honest and I absolutely love my burgers! Just get those little details ironed out and these are then perfect burgers! Thanks guys...
Read moreI was there on opening day, about half an hour after their grand opening. For a while now, I have been very desperate to have a great burger place near my house - usually have to go to Feltham or Southall if I was craving a proper burger and when I saw this was opening I was very excited.
First off, the staff is incredibly friendly and that's exactly what you want. Felt like a family atmosphere between the staff and customers and that was lovely to see. The decor is spot on - not too over the top in your face gaudy but classy enough to give you an elevated experience when dining.
The food was AMAZING. Had a decent size order for the family which included a mix of their burgers, from smashed beef, grilled chicken and donner. Everything was spot on. The chicken was grilled to perfection, the beef was an actual smashed patty unlike some places that claim it, you can tell its handmade and seasoned very very well - not overpowered by anything but you can taste the actual meat which is what I love in a beef burger. The donner wasnt just plain old meat, it was mixed in with vegetables and a sauce which was incredible. Great cuts of meat with incredible flavour. Fries were fresh and crispy.
Brother was immensely kind not charging me for the extra drinks (of which they have a GREAT selection) and also offering me a free dessert as I was one of the first customers. This kind of love is reason enough to go again! The Biscoff Milk Cake was INSANELY delicious - cant wait to try the other desserts.
I can see this becoming my go to now - close to home, great staff, great...
Read morePlaced a large order hoping to enjoy a family meal but it turned out to be a complete disaster.
The Naga doner was the worst I’ve ever had, and to top it off, it came with a long strand of hair. The entire Naga order went straight into the bin after that.
The Smashburger wasn’t any better; the meat smelled off and clearly wasn’t fresh.
The only thing remotely acceptable was the chicken burger, but the damage was done.
Looking at other reviews, poor hygiene and quality seem to be recurring issue. Save your hard-earned money, there are far better options out there.
Update:
I really do hope your staff wear caps and hair nets as standard, though that’s a bit hard to believe given Bashrat’s review from a few months ago which suggests otherwise.
Yes, I got a refund through Uber Eats and I think anyone would have done the same in this situation. If the food just wasn’t to my taste, I wouldn’t have asked for a refund. But finding a long piece of hair? That’s where most people rightly draw the line.
If anything, leaving a review after getting a refund shows the issue was genuine, not as you suggested, an attempt to exploit the system.
I understand reviews like this can affect a small business, so I’ve chosen to remove the photo from my original post as I agree it was quite off-putting.
I do hope you take on this feedback and make the necessary improvements moving...
