Alas, no such courtesy of communication followed; no updates, no apologies, only a deafening silence punctuated by the growling of my own indignation.

Upon mustering the patience to telephone the establishment, I was subjected to an exchange so staggeringly unprofessional it bordered on farce. The individual on the other end of the line—presumably tasked with customer relations, though one might scarcely deduce it—demanded, with an air of bewildered perplexity, that I reiterate my postcode, as though my order had vanished into the ether of their administrative chaos. After being unceremoniously relegated to an interminable hold, I was met not with resolution, but with a flippant admission: “Apologies, your order was not ready; we are busy.” No mitigation, no recompense, merely a shrug of verbal indifference.

To deem this “service” unprofessional would be an act of unwarranted generosity. It is an affront to the very notion of commerce, a masterclass in institutional negligence. Tastes OK, but very late, very cold, base pretty hard, one topping should have been doubled and wasn't and another was missing entirely. Sauce sparse - very sparse toppings in general actually, and all flung into the middle. Not sure the correct size was sent - cut into the right number of slices but considerably smaller than they used to be. Not sure if they've just shrunk everything or if they just made the wrong size.

Had we not ordered custom toppings, would have honestly thought it was reheated from earlier. Also, we tried to use one of the offers on their website and the checkout listed everything at full price, so then had to go back and adjust the order.

As the pizza was late, I called the store to see if they could provide any updates, since the website didn't mention it even having been sent out yet. It finally arrived when I was on the phone, but the staff member I spoke to seemed clueless and at one point told me it would be another 45 minutes. Between this and the size, we were still hungry afterwards.
