Burger King — Restaurant in London

How is this Burger King franchise still open? The store desperately needs a full renovation, and the staff, including the manager need replacing. The service is absolutely awful.

I used a £10.99 voucher to order the Vegan Royal, but the staff gave me a Chicken Royal instead. When I noticed the mistake, I immediately told them I had asked for the vegan option. Instead of apologising, the staff member responded rudely, saying, “We can’t change it.” I’m vegan, how am I supposed to eat chicken? Why would I order meat if I’m vegan?

She then tried to shift the blame onto me, claiming I hadn’t made my order clear which I did. Even if she was unsure, why assume what I wanted instead of confirming? It was clearly their mistake, and like any decent takeaway, they should have just fixed it.

After some eye-rolling, she reluctantly called the manager, who was just as rude. He also tried to blame me and didn’t want to resolve the issue, despite the fact that I hadn’t even touched or unwrapped the burger. He eventually replaced it but with a terrible attitude.

To top it off, the store itself is absolutely filthy dirty floors, spider webs completely unacceptable for a food establishment. Clean the damn store! This place is a disgrace to the...

The food is decent and the staff are normally friendly, but unfortunately I can't say much else for the place's other attributes. The toilets are gross, I avoid them at all costs and try not to touch anything when I have to go in them. The place just doesn't seem clean, it has a really grimy feeling to it. It looks so rundown, I really think this place would be better if they spent the money redecorating it. I believe this is also the Burger King that is responsible for the deliveries in my area, which is my worst experience of all. Every time I've ordered we've waited at least an hour, usually more, and 9 times out of 10 they've messed up our order. We once had been waiting over two hours for our food, called numerous times and kept being told it was on the way and would be with us shortly when it clearly wasn't. When it did finally arrive, a meal was missing. We called back and told them and they just said they were closing soon so there was nothing they could do. No offer of a refund or to make it up in any way. We had ordered through hungryhouse so we put a complaint in and got money put on our hungryhouse account as an apology, but since that time we've never ordered from...

Although I like burger King a lot better than mcdonald's and kfc, I'm giving it a two star rating because I think over the past recent years burger King have let themselves down a lot. I mean all other fast food restaurants have made the effort to do up their restaurants and burger king still looks like its back in the late 80's to early 90's. Burger king's hygiene has also massively gone down as well, every toilet I've been in at a burger King has been absolutely disgusting, though I must admit kfc's toilet are even worse! The table, chairs and floors aren't very clean either and sometimes the smell when you walk into a burger King is so bad, I've just walked straight out again.
