I’ve been a regular at Butter Up Cafe in Tulse Hill for a year and it’s fantastic. The coffee is consistently excellent, and the staff—Jam, Alex, and Patch—are incredibly friendly. The environment is perfect for grabbing a coffee on the go or settling in to get some work done. I only tried their pastries once, but I hear their cinnamon buns is popular here. Open daily, this cafe is a local favourite worth checking out.

Very smooth and delicious coffee. We’re so sad that we were leaving this area because we don’t know if we’ll find a coffee shop in the UK that will beat their coffee. We ordered an iced latte twice and both times it was amazing. They also have a lot of alternative milks and keto friendly desserts/coffee. Super clean and cute shop. Their almond croissant is amazing! Really friendly and welcoming barista as well. :)

I really like having this coffee shop in the area. Their oat cappuccino is very good. I once got cold brew and it was a bit too sweet brew for my taste (so I suggest asking what roast that is). Their cinnamon roll is tasty. I am giving 4* because I wish they had online stamp system, because I don't carry wallet most times. Overall, worth the visit!

This has been one of our local shops for a few years and never disappoints. The coffee tastes wonderful, the owner and baristas are friendly, great at what they do and lovely to chat to when it’s not busy.

The pastries etc are made locally and my husband always cheers up when I surprise him with coffee and a sausage roll 🤣 and the cold drinks have been fab this summer with the heat - iced coffees, kombuchas from the fridge that actually taste sweet(!), and finally remembered to order a smoothie and it was brilliant.

If I can, I always take time out of my commute or journey to pop in for something because it never fails to...

Stopped here today for the first time with my 3 kids. They had hot chocolate, I had chai latte, all were delicious. Staff were super friendly and helpful. My 3 year old tipped a whole hot chocolate over himself, the floor and the shop window. Then started screaming. The guy who made our drinks rushed over to make sure we were ok (we were fine, the hot choc wasn’t too hot, these guys know what they’re doing) cleared up all the mess and brought him a replacement hot chocolate with a lid and straw so he wouldn’t spill again. Best coffee that we tried in London. We got the Iced Lattes (difficult to find around here) and they were so smooth with a nice nutty flavor; some of the best we’ve EVER had! Very affordable pricing and the almond croissant had a nice crispy crust and a soft inside; I almost bought a second one. Small, clean shop with a handful of bar seating with a delightful owner in a charming area! Would be a daily favorite if...
