Cafe Verde Teddington — Restaurant in London

Ordered a coffee and 2 bacon 2 sausage 2 eggs and a tomato without reading the menu as I’m on a Keto diet. The breakfast was well cooked but used the cheapest of ingredients. The cheapest sausages and eggs with no colour. The tomato was the best part! I then asked to pay and I was told that’ll be 6.60. I thought “that’s good value” I then glanced at the receipt to fine it had cost me £16.60! £14 for a cheap fry up! I disputed the cost and they told me it was £2 an item. I won’t be returning and was made to feel guilty for questioning the price. Terrible value for money in my opinion when I know how much the ingredients cost. Came to this Cafe after a long, cold walk round Bushy park. The warm room and cosy cushioned bench seating was very inviting.

We ordered hot drinks and panini's.

The prices are average for the area and the quality slightly above average.

The menu has a decent selection and they were happy to make a few modifications. E.g. I asked for avocado instead of cheese in my chicken sourdough toastie.

The decoration and general atmosphere is very surprising considering the road it is on. Definitely a nice surprise and...

Just had brunch here. I had sausages, poached egg, beans and sourdough toast all hot and perfectly cooked. My other half had chicken and cheese panini with salad, which was absolutely delicious. Couldn’t fault the food or excellent service.Really good dressings offered, Balsamic,olive oil and amazing pomegranate. Served up with pleasant and friendly attention. Will definitely return.
