Red Koyla offers a dining experience that captures the essence of Indian cuisine with a unique twist. Nestled in the heart of town, its inviting atmosphere greets you with a delightful blend of modern design and traditional Indian decor. Soft, ambient lighting and intricate tapestries create a welcoming environment perfect for intimate dinners or casual gatherings with friends.
The menu at Red Koyla is an adventurous journey through India's diverse culinary landscape. Featuring a wide range of dishes, the emphasis is clearly on flavorful, authentic recipes. The classic Chicken Tikka was a highlight, perfectly marinated and grilled to succulent perfection, ensuring each bite was a symphony of spices. Pairing it with their garlic naan creates a harmony that's hard to resist.
Vegetarian options abound, with the Paneer Makhani standing out. The creamy sauce complemented the paneer beautifully, providing a rich and satisfying experience even for non-vegetarian palates. Another delightful surprise was the range of street food-inspired starters. The Pani Puri was a refreshing, tangy delight, bursting with flavors that prepared the palate for the main courses.
Red Koyla’s attention to detail doesn't go unnoticed, especially in its beverage selection. The Mango Lassi was thick and luscious, a refreshing counterpart to the spices of the meal. Their creative cocktail menu, featuring a Masala Mojito, was both innovative and refreshing.
Service is a top priority at Red Koyla, with attentive staff who are both knowledgeable and eager to offer recommendations. The balance struck between being attentive yet unobtrusive enhances the dining experience significantly.
One area for improvement could be the dessert menu, which, while offering traditional treats like Gulab Jamun, could benefit from a few more contemporary options to match the innovation seen in their main courses.
Overall, Red Koyla manages to create a memorable dining experience with its fusion of tradition and modern flair. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or new to its delights, this restaurant promises a rich tapestry of flavors that captivate your senses. An evening at Red Koyla is more than just a meal; it’s a charming experience that will leave you eager to return. Regard’s Rizwan Razik Crown...
Read moreI will be speaking by my heart and by my stomach😊... I visited Red Koyla with family for dine in and I must say I am delighted. We ordered Dahi Poori, lamb kabab, chicken Jalali and Lamb Hyderabadi Qeema and few non alcoholic drinks. I was amazed to see how uniquely these items were decorated and presented. It was a 5 start way of food presentation but don’t let the appearances fool you. The aroma was also equally pleasant and taste was from another words.
I have never experienced this quality of Indian food in London and across Europe. From appearance to texture, from aroma to taste, from friendly atmosphere to ambience, everything was superb. Prices are a bit surprising and I am damn sure one can not get this kind of lavish food at this efficient pricing. Totally totally less for five start quality of food.
I was not only focusing on my food but was scanning other tables too and making my list of food for the next visit. I must say I have to come here again to taste so many other dishes like lamb chop and Biryani.
Last but not the least I would like to thanks chef Mr Naseem and Manager Mr Rohan for such a nice hospitality. Keep it up this high...
Read moreEverything on the plate has a distinct, complex flavour, yet when eaten together the ingredients balance beautifully. I found myself sitting after each course and thinking about what I’ve just eaten, trying to figure out how they made the flavours. It was, above all, just absolutely delicious to eat. The best Indian food I’ve ever had in the UK. It may be one of the best meals I’ve had in the UK for that matter. Finally, you cannot leave a review without praising the staff here. It’s like fine dining service done with the love and care of a family restaurant. The chef came out to say hello and chatted with each table, but he was just happy that we loved his food. I cannot imagine the prices will stay so low. I would have paid triple. A very special place which has only just opened. At some point down the line people from across all of London will travel for the food. So I think my best advice for you is to come and enjoy it whilst it lasts. It’s a special restaurant and a special time...
