Caffè Nero — Restaurant in London

Three people on duty only one v slow trainee serving.

I wait about 10 mins so queue goes down. The trainee labours over the couple in front of me for well over 5 mins. Spills milk making both coffees.

I ask the other trainee to make my coffee and he tells me I have to wait for the other guy.

There continues to be a queue and only the slow guy serving.

I guess the manager hates making coffee.

Bizarre. Maybe an inspection is due or something as they are usually pretty good here.

Staff are lovely and the indoor café area is great for laptop work, however the internet sucks. It must the slowest internet on this planet. Often I struggle to load a webpage. The standard of coffee is rather inconsistent and it depends on the barista. From excellent to very average coffee, flat whites should be silk like texture but are often latte milkshakes! I visited this afternoon between 2.30-3.30. There were two members of staff, manager and trainee. During the whole time l was there neither members of staff cleaned the tables and seemed to spend their time chatting. It was not busy and would have taken no longer than 10 minutes to clear the debris on the tables. I very rarely visit cafes that are part of a chain and normally go to stand alone ones.
