Caribbean Flavours — Restaurant in London

I really don’t like posting bad reviews as I know it’s people’s livelihood however I am so done with this place! Last year I ordered a chicken soup and found the chicken insides/offal inside the chicken thigh. We all know we clean that out of the chicken. When I called the lady said that it must have slipped through by mistake. I was put off by this but today I thought let me give them another try, I ordered Curry goat and white rice as well as red peas soup and fried chicken and rice. These did not taste bad but nothing to write home about. The curry goat on the other hand was truly disgusting, literally tasted like boiled meat, no flavour whatsoever, the colour was so pale I thought they might have given me curry chicken by mistake. Presentation was awful but I think this was down to Just Eat delivery driver. I will not be ordering from here ever again. The one good Caribbean shop in east London was Stoney Hill in Maryland. While the food is okay, there is lots to be desired from the overall experience. Let's start with the parking; I understand that this has nothing to do with them but there is absolutely no place to park without risking ticket. Then there is the service. Do not expect service with a smile. I have been going there for some time now and I am yet to see a pleasant smile Then there is the waiting time to be served. It just always takes so long and all this time you are worried about getting a ticket. Overall hygiene seems okay but I have seen a few things to make me worry; like the fact that the banana peel is kept alongside the hard food and the serving spoons are all dipped in the same container of liquid and used to serve. It's probably good enough if you live locally but I would not go out of my way...

I recently visited Caribbean Flavour on Leytonstone High Road, and my experience was incredibly disappointing. Most of the staff there seem to have an attitude problem and lack basic customer service skills. There’s one young mixed-race girl in particular who was extremely rude. I went in to buy a patty as usual, and her attitude was completely unacceptable, as if she had no regard for customers.

It’s frustrating that a place selling food doesn't prioritize good customer service. I’ve heard several other people complain about this too.
