A nice park with a pretty extensive history. It is a very hidden park in between Maryland and Forest Gate station, not particularly the nicest part of London. I feel like they have done a great job keeping it as a fairly natural terrain park, but they need to maintain it too, it feels somewhat abandoned. The history is that it used to be a maternity hospital or sort of a nursing home in the late 1800's. Read moreI have not noticed anything like a restroom(bushes,but no restroom). The Playground is nothing to write home about. Picnic area? Hmmmm!! There are a couple of tables and benches. Dogs might find some amusement and exercise chasing the geese,but i don't find the geese very friendly at all, so make sure that your dog can look after itself...
