Forest Lane Park — Attraction in London

A nice park with a pretty extensive history. It is a very hidden park in between Maryland and Forest Gate station, not particularly the nicest part of London. I feel like they have done a great job keeping it as a fairly natural terrain park, but they need to maintain it too, it feels somewhat abandoned. The history is that it used to be a maternity hospital or sort of a nursing home in the late 1800's. Really convenient and kids love it. But gets full up of eastern European mums. Unfortunately there not the most sociable and don't even smile, because they get there in big groups, it's feel like they have taken up all the nice spots with lots of children. So having to wait a while to use any of the rides Makes it slightly uncomfortable...

I have not noticed anything like a restroom(bushes,but no restroom). The Playground is nothing to write home about. Picnic area? Hmmmm!! There are a couple of tables and benches. Dogs might find some amusement and exercise chasing the geese,but i don't find the geese very friendly at all, so make sure that your dog can look after itself...
