Village Flavour – Hyderabad Chicken Curry Review If you’re in the mood for some hearty, flavorful, and authentic Indian cuisine, Village Flavour is the place to be. The Hyderabad Chicken Curry is an absolute showstopper! The chicken is perfectly tender, absorbing all the spices and flavors from the rich, aromatic curry. The balance of heat and subtle sweetness in the dish is just right, and the warm, fragrant rice that accompanies it elevates the entire meal. The curry has a depth of flavor that comes from a blend of spices, slow-cooked to perfection.
But beyond the food, what made the experience even better was Shivani. Her service was impeccable – friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She made sure we had everything we needed and even offered great suggestions based on what we were in the mood for. It’s rare to find service so warm and personal, and Shivani truly made the experience feel special. If you're lucky enough to be served by her, you're in for a treat not only with the food but with the hospitality as well!

This was my first visit to Village Flavours Restaurant, and overall, it left me disappointed.
• Chicken Biryani (Family Pack) – ★★★½☆ Priced at £15.99. The taste was okay and can be recommended, but there was too much masala which overpowered the flavor.
• Lamb Biryani (Family Pack) – ★☆☆☆☆ Priced at £18.99. A complete disappointment. The rice and meat were both dry and didn’t taste fresh at all. Do not waste your money on this.
• Raita was watery and lacked any real flavor.
The serving bowl they use for the family portions is shaped like a half-moon, and the quantity matches — barely enough for two people if you’re hungry. Compared to other restaurants, where a family biryani can easily serve three or four, the portion size here feels limited and overpriced.
On the positive side, the service was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Alcohol is also served here, which some may appreciate.
However, if you’re looking for good food and generous portions, this place doesn’t deliver. Especially avoid the lamb biryani —...

They asked us to sit and after 5 minutes, even before going through the menu waitress asked, “what you want to order, we can only give takeaway.” Even though there mentioned closing time on google is 11:00pm. And then she said, we are only two people we cannot serve, what do you want to order? Biryani? We came here to have a proper meal,Can we decide or not?.But this was pathetic. And at the end when she came back in just one minute to take order, we said we are still selecting, again she said we can only make biryani. As if they are trying to feed us only leftover biryanis or what ??? Are you serious? We went there with full hope that we’d have some good Indian food. But she ruined it very well…Is this the way to behave with your customers? If we just wanted to eat biryani that through takeaway, we could have ordered it from our usual place, was thinking of praising your food, as i came after reading your reviews but only food is not the case sometimes!!!!
To all People Please ask them if they can serve or not, before sitting...
