Casa Pepe — Restaurant in London

I attended this morning in passing for a breakfast.

I asked for a set 2 continental breakfast specifically pointing out that I wanted the breakfast with loucanica (spicy sausage) @£7.45.

When my breakfast came, although it came fast and was tasty the sausage was a plain standard sausage.

I took one bite to confirm.

I finished and went to pay was asked

"was everything OK?"

"Yes apart from it wasn't a loucanica sausage"

CP. Explains that apparently they don't use loucanica because it breaks or something A blah Blah blah explaination.

"then why didn't you tell me it wasn't going to be loucanica as I specifically asked for it and it's on your menu board"

Male staff "yes sorry about that, but it's a Cumberland sausage we use"

"No it isn't, it's a standard sausage so now you are just lying to me."

MS "oh yes, sorry about that"

Female staff: "that will be...

I have been living in East Finchley for a number of years ... Casa Pepe is one of my favourite places to sit down and have a coffee or a meal ... Staff like Emma and Christina always serving with a ready smile and the rest of the staff hard working and friendly ... Things get done quickly for such a busy little place and I've never had a complaint about the the quality of the food nor the service ... I tend to recommend it to my friends as the ''meet and munch'' spot in East...
