Nahling — Restaurant in London

Had a takeaway from Nahling a few months back which was realy good and was looking forward to a Thai meal after a long week in work...sadly what we received tonight was extremely disappointing.

Starter: The mixed starters which we paid 12 pounds for consisted of half a slice of tasteless chicken toast, 2 small spring rolls straight out of iceland and same with the prawn po pia. I want to be completely honest here so just to say the small skewers that came with it were tasty but 12 pounds for the portion size and quality of this dish is very poor vaue.

Main Course: The pad thai was decent but the panang curry I can only describe as being close to the spiciness of a vindaloo but with the addition of frozen peas and tough beef.

If I get poor service I always give the benefit of the doubt and rather than just leave a bad review contact the business to inform them so they can deal with whatever might have gone wrong.

I did so tonight but they weren´t able to give any resolution more than..”that´s the way we always do it” & ”we´ll let the manager know” They clearly care a lot about customer satisfaction.

Given their response I´d hate to see anyone else waste...

This place is amazing.. the experience there was incredible, there are no words for that. It’s not just the food ( that is especially wonderful, because you can feel there is passion and hard work behind it, in every bite) but it’s the atmosphere the staff is able to create.. with simplicity and spontaneity, they could turn a evening in a incredible experience.. and there are no words to describe it... people that are people and feel your essence truthfully... Olivia made our experience incredibly deep and full, and I am grateful to her and to all the staff... thank you very much, I would come every day of my life... it’s so nice to find such a wonderful souls that changes your days in such a short time.. the care and the attention that the staff express in every detail is an experience that can’t be express in words. Booked a party buffet … never again!! Food was cold, scarce and inedible! Starters were lovely but that’s it. We were stuck upstairs for a party of 25, and literally a small corner with a so called buffet. Sooo disappointed as it was my daughter’s 30th and I had specifically asked for certain things. Totally ignored. They don’t seem to realise that the silver buffet type burners are to keep food hot… NOT warm up pre cooked food . Oh and when everyone went to get there food it was all cold because they forgot to light the candles underneath the containers????I was embarrassed to ask everyone to pay there bit.
