Upon arrival I asked for a table of 2 and the manager or host said to come back in 15 minutes and grabbed her tablet and said she made reservations for us in 15 minutes. It made no sense but okay no problem.. We return back in 15 min and then told us to give us a few. I asked is there a reason why we are waiting? Is there no tables because there seemed to be plenty of tables from where I was standing. She sat us in the club access room and said I’m “getting your table ready”. So she couldn’t sit us there before? Again this didn’t make any sense and if it wasn’t for my husband and my honeymoon I would’ve acted differently but I didn’t want to ruin our night. Once we sat at our table and ordered a bottle service, the service was different. Mood had changed. If you ask me, manager or host was racist and discriminated us from the beginning. Everyone in that room was white and we had a layover so we were casually dressed. Will never return here I just made it the best night possible for my husband. Thank my husband! He has patience I don’t.

No sirloin, so had to have fillet which had to be sawed through and looked like the scene of an axe murder when I got through it. The blue cheese sauce was like brown gravy and tasted the same. Highly disappointed. The draught light ale was equally poor so reverted to Stella which wasn't the best. The meat buyer, chef and kitchen manager should be fired.
Was still left very hungry so ordered the fish and chips which was passable if you like skin left on fish. The "mushed" peas were an interesting concept - frozen garden peas smashed with a fork; I guess something was lost in translation with the wholly Asian staff.

Recent improvements to the menu seem to have been rewarded by a growth in popularity, as it's been a lot busier on my more recent visits. And I'm a big fan of the new menu. Food is much better, with more choice. I ENJOY eating here now. The staff are always very welcoming and the food is good (if a little pricey, compared to alternatives). My suggestions for the manager would be to manage customers better (turning away customers when there are empty tables can't be good for you) and reintroduce other steak cuts - the decor advertises different steak cuts, where only sirloin is on the menu (with rump as a special).
