Charcoal — Restaurant in London

Last time I ordered from here I gave it a great review on JustEat, highly recommending this place and saying this will be my place of choice for future takeaways.

So since I loved my first order I had ordered from them again, I asked them to replace this time the rice with fries and they kindly did, delivery came on time but they forgot to give me 2 salads, that's ok it happens, I called the restaurant informing them, they apologized and told me they'll send someone with the salads, to not inconvenience them I agreed with the person on the phone I'd get a free portion of chips next time instead, GREAT!!

After eating the food, which this time was overcooked and mediocre, I woke up in the middle of the night with food poisoning. I had received great service to far, so I decided to call the restaurant and I kindly asked for a refund explaining the situation, because I really don't want to pay £15 to get food poisoning, they hung up on me, not even an apology. So i have emailed the employee that offered me the free chips (he gave me his email to claim them), maybe they couldn't understand me over the phone, again explaining the situation and that I would like a refund. 3 days have passed with no answer and no money back (just eat also said they can't do anything in this case)

I work in a restaurant and I know how it is being treated badly by a customer, so I would like to clarify that I was always being nice with them.

You might get good food, but I wouldn't order from a place that treats customers this way, especially when the fault is on their side

If they are unwilling to give back £15 to save face and to keep a customer then I bet they're cutting corners on other things, which might explain why I got...

Absolutely disgusting customer service from this restaurant. They failed to do their part, they didn't deliver my food, then had the nerve to have an attitude and be of absolutely no help when I phoned them to enquire.

They refused to cancel my order, despite me phoning them multiple times. In fact, they had the nerve to hang up on me and block my number! Called them back on a different number, and surprise, surprise, they blocked that number too!

Learn how to interact with people and take some responsibility. Will be spreading the word to friends and family about this awful experience and will tell them not to bother ordering from this pathetic excuse of a restaurant.

To the person who I dealt with on the phone, please quit your job and find employment in something like a cave, I feel you would perform outstandingly in such a setting.

First time customer here. Ordered from Uber eats and just wanted to say it was lovely. Im usually quite dissappointed by the Turkish places ive eaten at locally cos the food is usually bland and oily. This place however was great! The food was tasty, arrived quickly and they also sent me a dessert on the house which was a nice touch. The portions were also much bigger thsn i expected with extra salads and rice and bread accompaniments with my meal that i was not expecting. My only criticism is to perhaps be clearer on Uber eats that your dishes come with extras as i probably ordered way too much not realising this. No bother for me though as i just had lots of leftovers for the next day! I Have not been inside the actual restaurant so cant comment on staff etc but as for the food it was gorgeous. Defo...
