Tried this joint for the first time and I got to say I loved it. On menu it seems they have plenty of choices for chicken lovers, they don’t do any lamb or beef patties/ burgers. There was lots to choose from but I decided to go for “Epic solo meal” and it was nicely balanced out . I got myself a K classic Korean burger with skinny smoked paprika fries- Japanese BBQ wings served with a sauce of my choice and a drink all for £11.95. I found it good value for money and very tasty too, it’s not very often I say portion size was good and generous. Of course the burger stood out from the whole menu, it was huge crispy chicken fillet in a brioche bun. Staff tells me they only use whole thigh or leg pieces for their burgers and double dipped in butter milk. And the end product was great very crispy on the outside and soft tender fillet on the inside. I would definitely go back and try something different on their menu for next time. I liked the shop deco too. I believe this shop had its ups and downs previously under different names and management but I feel current management have finally hit home. Staff was friendly welcoming and so was the atmosphere and wibe. I hope I don’t jinx it 😬… will be back see you...
Read moreNot just another chicken shop! First visit, got the Korean chicken burger with thigh meat (yes, you get the choice! (and I never get why people choose breast over thigh 🤔)) and it was excellent. Well cooked, breading just the right crispiness and the sauce is a nice balance of tang and heat. Compared v v well to even fancy hipster places elsewhere in London. Tasty seaweed fries too. My only complaints would be the bun was not quite up to the task of containing all the chicken, and there's not a little sink to wash your hands after you eat in 😂 Price scale means it's a treat rather than a 6 wings for a fiver deal, but that's no complaint. Am really excited we have...
Read moreDecent place. Parking is horrendous haha. Their local permit ends at 10pm!!! Seems clean. Wait time for the Double Down was approx 15 mins. Did not dine in. Burgers Yen and Nashville hot were nice but I preferred the Yen due to sauce. Nashville in general is not my go to flavour. Chips are plain with a dash of chosen seasoning....LAME. No tub sauces. Wings....NOPE...didn't like them. Not coming off the bone. Chose buffalo and J bbq sauce for wings but neither impressed. Too tangy and not sitting right. Only good thing were the burgers. Not sure if I recommend. Price wise...maybe the double down. Next time will try...
