Chick Chicken — Restaurant in London

The guy behind the counter was unnecessarily rude when I asked him how fresh the wings were. The shop was practically empty with only one customer there and after I asked the question I was mocked for asking a simple question.

“That’s a silly question, you don’t ask that when you come to a chicken shop.

I replied with “I just want to know how long ago you took them out”

To which he mocked me again by saying “Yesterday” sarcastically and gestured with his hands in a dismissive manner.

I used to visit here regularly years ago when it was run by the original owners and wanted to see what it was like now… evidently has gone downhill to...

Bald guy over the counter is extremely rude. I had come with complaint of stale chips. I wanted to replace the chips. It has been 10 mins. He insisted it's been over an hour. He refused to replace and said it's the law. He kept asking which country I am from. I didn't respond as it wasn't relevant, this frustrated him, and he handed me the money and shouted at me to get lost. This escalated into a verbal spat. I strongly suggest the owner dismiss this person, if he cares about customer service. On a previous occasion I have seen the same individual mocking poor Romanian children who had come with coins to order food....

If there was an option for 0 stars I would give Chick chicken 0. I ordered takeaway and the chicken wings were absolutely sickening. The wings were very dark drenched in oil. The wings were cold and tasted like fish! Absolutely disgusting, the next day I had a horrible sore throat and felt very unwell from the food. The wings were not fresh and it was obvious they hadn’t changed the oil for weeks or months even. Please avoid this shop at all costs unless you are absolutely starving. Horrible food and...
