This is basically a first-rate version of your traditional British coffee / sandwich shop that caters to the breakfast and lunch trade. It serves generous portions of a wide range of breakfast options, including the "full English." Fare for lunch includes an array of sandwiches, including burgers and some other hot dishes, all at reasonable prices  Coney's Cafe is distinguished by better coffee than usually open found in establishments of this type, as well as by notably friendly service. Stick to the basics, and you will probably be happy. I tried the chicken caesar salad on a recent visit. It was a large portion of generic mixed "salad," grilled chicken strips, and fried strips of bread, reasonably tasty, but not a chicken caesar salad as I've come to know it.

Coney's Cafe and Restaurant is a busy cafe offering a wide range of well-cooked tasty food. There is a surprisingly large range of food on the menu and the coffee is excellent. Staff are extremely cheerful and very obliging. This really is a community cafe for all ages. Food is freshly cooked and waiting times are minimal. First time I've tried this place. Had a nice clean floor looked safe with social distancing stickers. Hand sanitizer by the door for customers but everyone was touching it!! I have my own. Food was good so 3 stars for that - a huge chicken wrap, 1 breakfast and an egg mayo crispy bacon sandwich. But staff dont wear masks as they should do under covid regs!!!
