Costa coffee - Hornchurch 1 — Restaurant in London

I do not like leaving negative reviews but I feel I should on this occasion. I have been visiting this branch of Costa for years and it has steadily declined over the last couple of years. Staff change from week to week, the place feels neglected and in repair. The toilet, windows etc are not clean. There is always a big queue because staff are inexperienced and take a long time to serve customers. And for over 3 weeks they have been playing Christmas music constantly and loudly, saying they cannot change it due to the music player being "broken". It's unbearable and they do not seem bothered to fix it anytime soon. I have complained on more than one occasion and said that it's not right to play religious festival music at the wrong time of year (it's March now!), but they do not seem to understand. They refuse to turn it off. I can't bear listening to Jingle Bells on repeat anymore so I will go elsewhere in future. It's just not a nice atmosphere anymore and they do not make...

I must say I am extremely pleased with the pleasant experience I had yesterday in costa coffee Hornchurch,I often visit the bigger shop but found it to busy and rushed. The staff here were helpful and happy, I had a vanilla flat white and it was beautifully made to a great standard. The shop was clean even at a busy time in the day, the team in this place work there bones off and don’t stop for a second. I was here for around a hour or so reading my newspaper enjoying my coffee but had a appointment to attend. I could of quite easily stayed longer. The only downside is the toilet had a strange smell of damp but other than that everything was clean and tidy and I will make this my new regular...

Today, I visited the hornchurch 1 and I ordered a Fudge Brownie Frappé with soya milk for my son. However, the barista with glasses who prepared the drink made an error and used the wrong milk. My son has a sensitivity to certain types of milk, so I asked for confirmation, and it turned out that the drink was not made with soya milk. While the staff member did remake the drink after I pointed this out, she forgot to add cream, and the texture of the Frappé was not as expected.

This experience was disappointing and caused a significant delay, which impacted our visit. I believe the staff member may benefit from additional training to ensure that orders are made correctly and...
