Food I would say was above average (for me anyway) but everyone else in our party enjoyed the food. All came out together - party of about 15. Quite expenses if you ask me - no real kids menu so this place I would say isn't suitable for children under the age of 5. Service was good an friendly - not too busy on a Sunday lunch time. We noticed was quite cold while we was sitting there so we had to ask to turn the air con off which was done promptly. I thought the pizza dough was very hard - quite hard to even cut, desert was good. A few of us had steak with potato which was very good. Fish was also spoken highly off. Place has a warm feel to it and overall was pretty good. Service was very good. About 15 in party and bill just under £500 with drinks.

Easy 5 star. Food: fantastic taste, great recipes, great portion size, delicious and doesn’t feel heavy. Interior: really nice wall set up of Venice and some other Italian places portrayed on the wall all across the restaurant. Spacious. Great size tables and chairs and well spaced to not feel one of top of another. Staff: super friendly, professional, going above and beyond, give them money raise. Service: order was brought within 15 mins, mains. We got offered also fresh pepper minced and extra Parmesan (for free of course). Pricing: very reasonable. They shouldn’t charge more than they do but they don’t currently overcharge I’d say. Paid 65£ for 2 people, with 2 drinks, 2 pastas and one pizza shared.

I can't believe I've lived in Hornchurch for 5 years and not had their pizza! Had the lunch offer with 2 courses for £20 (great value) I had the Quattro Formaggio pizza and oh wow. The dough was light but crispy, there was so much cheese (what I want with a 4 cheese pizza) and it just tasted great. The antipasto italiano starter (meat and cheese) was great. The scampi starter, whilst lovely, was small with only 5 small bits of scampi Service was only 4/5 - but through no fault of the employees, but the restaurant was so busy they could have done with an extra pair of hands. I had a slice of the vegetarian pizza as well which was also yummy. I will definitely be back

My family have been dining in this restaurant for years.Recently we met there to celebrate my mother's-in-law birthday. It was a lunchtime meal. The first thing I noticed was that the staff were not attentive at all. They took the order for our wine and just left without checking if there was anything else we needed (we did-as we were with a pregnant lady and a child). When placing our food order-we were advised that it was better to order from the set menu as it would make the food arrive quicker. We were happy to do so as we were dining with a toddler so speed was important. My firsr course -salmon fishcake was more potatoes than salmon but was edible. The prawn coctail that my parents in law ordered looked like something straight out of the 70s but was apparently not too bad. Unfortunately,we had to wait for over an hour for our main course. When it finally arrived-it was more than disappointing. My vegetable pasta (the only vegeterian option on the set menu) was incredibly oily-it was cream with olive oil with some broccoli and sundried tomatoes thrown in.There was no flavour or spice and had it not been for the fact that I was starving after the wait,I would have not eaten it.The waiter who was supposed to come with parmesan cheese so i could add some flavour to the dish-never appeared.Other people ordered a roast-dinner type meal. They said the meat was quite tender and tasty but the roast potatoes were a total fiasco. They were basically whole, massive potatoes boiled and then browned a tiny bit.No flavour and a terrible texture.Possibly the worst roast potatoes ever.Overall the quality of the food was disappointing and the staff looked like they couldn't care less. The table who came much later than us was served their food before us and when we mentioned it,the waiter just shrugged his shoulders. We did make a complaint and were expecting to receive a discount. However,we were only offered a drink on the house which we didn't accept as it would not have made this long afternoon any better and we didn't want to waste any more of our time there.Perhaps they had a bad day or a different chef but the way we were dealt with does not give me any confidence in this place and we will not be returning...

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES! I came in on valentines day and had to pre-order our meal. When talking to the staff member on the phone he was made aware of my allergies, especially my allergy to eggs which is a severe allergy. After deciding what i wanted to order we double checked everything i was going to eat was allergy free. Specifically, i was told the cheesecake was egg free. My allergies were also noted down so they were well aware of my allergies. When it came to eat the cheesecake i immediately had an allergic reaction. My boyfriend went to talk to the man we dealt with on the phone and he proceeded to go and get the ingredients which showed it had egg in it! He then proceeded to blame us as they were busy, even though we had given them plenty of notice and he also had noted it down next to my order! He was extremely unprofessional and clearly had no idea what he was doing. For someone working in the food industry he should know how to deal with people with allergies. We never even got our deposit back! The rest of the night was me being sick because of them. They are lucky i noticed straight away otherwise my reaction would've been much...

Visited this place last Saturday 31st, and Was very disappointed with this restaurant from start to finish. I found the food to be bland (the cheesy garlic bread and meatballs for starters seemed as If it was microwaved) and the cocktails took about 15 mind to receive. When I did receive it, the mango daiquiri was disgusting, so I requested for the waiter to change it for me for a different one but he refused! His excuse was that happy hour is over, although it take them ages to make and as soon as they bought it out, I tasted it and didn't like it so I asked them straight away. I explained that it's not my fault they take forever to make the drinks and that its gone past 4pm. He had a very bad attitude and told me I should swap with my friend! (Who says that?!) Then he told me i would be charged for a new one. We went back and forth and he finally agreed to change for me without charge. I've never received terrible service like that, and regret not having service charge taken off. It was my first and LAST time going there. His poor customer service ruined my experience....
