Worst time of my life.
First of all the service was very bad. There was hardly any staff and they were very rude. I had eaten at this restraunt for a special occasion and I was beyond shocked at how we were treated there. Table arrangement wasn't done how we wanted it they sat all the children even the under 5's (who needed an adult) away from the us right next to the bar. The bar tender was serving the kids drinks weren't they weren't suppose to. They were serving underage children cocktails that could have contained alcohol my 2 year old nephew was given sprite in a tall glass which ended up all over him, all the kids drinks were in glasses not plastic so there was no safety for our children. When it came to adults ordering drinks they had us waiting hours for the drink we had to order the same drink 3 times we asked the staff if our groups could pay their own drinks they said no and that it has to be on the tab they then charged a ridiculous amount. Afterwards they started bringing out items to eat it took them 30 mins to bring out some olives, bread and sauces. They gave us more appetisers then they did starters and main. Priced at £45 a head I certainly didn't eat that amount. When the main course arrived some of our guests had allergies to certain items which contaminated the items we could eat when we asked for an alternative or for the food to be separated they said no and I quote "this is how we do the food, I do this for a living so I can't change it" leaving myself and others hungry they also gave the children the same starter as the adults which they didn't touch. We didn't get our desserts nor the children but was charged an extortionate price. Overall very bad experience. 1 star is...

I've been a loyal customer of Reina for several years now and have always enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and overall experience. It's been a go-to spot for family meals and special occasions. However, I’ve noticed a disappointing shift more recently.
While price increases are understandable given the current climate, what’s been more difficult to accept is the reduction in portion sizes and, more importantly, the change in customer service approach. On our latest visit, we asked to have our leftover food packed, including the remaining sauces — something that has never been an issue in the past. This time, we were told they would not pack the sauces, even though we had already paid for them as part of our meal. To make matters worse, we were charged £1 for a small pot of chilli sauce, and the leftover sauces on our table were discarded rather than packed up for us.
This may seem like a small detail, but it left a bad taste. It's the principle — if customers have paid for something, they should be allowed to take it home, especially when it’s part of the meal they've already been charged for.
Reina has always been known for its hospitality and customer focus, so I hope this feedback is taken in the spirit of improvement. I'd love to continue supporting a place I’ve long enjoyed, but the recent changes have definitely impacted our overall experience.
I should add that the owner of the restaurant is absolutely fantastic and very accommodating. Had she been there that day, this probably would never...
Read moreI would prefer to give no star but don’t have the option. Restaurant was meant to be booked out for our party as there was well over 50+ guests but they did not do this and still was open to public which is not a problem but becomes a problem when there are only 2-3 staff. Ordering a drink was ridiculous you either waited around 30mins to receive one or didn’t receive one at all and had to order again absolute joke. Children were seated on their OWN at the other end of the restaurant and was then allowed to go to the bar and was approached by staff for drink orders with no adult present very disappointed as a few children had ordered an alcoholic drink and was given it without any adults knowledge. Manager sibell was disorganised and extremely rude. £45 per head for 50+ guests and was given bread, 6 bowls of salad, 6 plates with 2 lamb chops, 2 koftes and 1 shish kebab to share between all those people and had to wait for the main food for 3 hours after arriving then they put a bowl of salad down then had to wait an hour for the actual food to come, absolutely ridiculous sibell knew exactly what she was doing extremely overpriced. Food was tough and fatty and falafels were like hard dried out biscuits felt like I bit on a rock. Do not recommend this venue. The review is not over the top these things did happen. I wish I could write everything that happened. Worst meze grill I have ever been too. 0 star for...
