I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zarana Indian Restaurant in Hornchurch, and it was an experience worth sharing.

I really don't know how this place got such good reviews. Service was appalling to the point of be ignored. Had to ask to be served drinks, then asked to place an order after 40mins. We said we would leave if they were to busy, then the table behind had the same complaints . I went along with wife, 2 daughters and grandson who got to tired to eat. Anyone who can say that the food here is of good quality have surely not tried enough restaurants. We left most of the meal when it did get served another 40mins after ordering, paid the bill and left. We all agreed that this was the worst experience we have had, wish we left when i suggested and saved the £85 . I can add that i get a better service at my local chicken shop which my family found...

Usually have great service. However last Sunday ordered for 5 people at 6pm. Food came in an hour at 7pm which was fine however 2 mains and a starter missing. Phoned several times to try to get the missing items ( we were under a ten min drive away) and no apology was offered or confirmation that our missing food was on its way. Was asked to call back to speak to manager after 30 mins … I expected that our missing food would be a priority and on its way before then !! If we had been told there were limited delivery drivers we would have collected. In the end we got the missing food 2.5 hours after we ordered and I didn’t get s call from the manager. Really...
