First and last time visiting. The coffee is nice, the cakes I bought were average however my issue is with cakes being on top of the glass display case with staff and custkmers speaking directly on top of them - MAJOR hygiene problem! I wanted to try the cheesecake but could see saliva being sprayed directly onto it - disgusting!

Also this is quite a tight cramped space (perhaps I visited during a busy time) and those of us waiting to pick up our takeaway orders were constantly moving around to make way for diners/workers moving around the tight space. It's great that theyre busy but it means it wasn't the most pleasant experience - I was...

Ideal spot in Lloyd Park, Walthamstow with a nice atmosphere. However, staff forgot our toastie order, after 30 minutes we went up to the counter and they apologised and offered us cakes and said they would make them. 10 minutes later, the group next to us that came in 20 minutes after us received theirs and we were still waiting. We then went up again to find out what was going on and they did eventually show up 5 minutes later. It was a shame as we had originally timed it perfectly with our baby but having waited 45 minutes it meant we had to rush and eat whilst our baby cried. Food was good but not worth the 45...

Great cafe in the William Morris museum. The seating at the back might be rare on the weekends but has great view and has great atmosphere. Inside is a bit more like a busy cafe and maybe a bit difficult to get a table sometimes but it’s worth it to try the Macbeth toastie which you definitely can’t make at home as well. The haggis is so good, exactly how I have had in Scotland. It’s rich and savoury, and the bread is big and buttery. The sandwich is big enough to split with someone if you’re not too hungry. I think they have vegetarian options too. The service was also very friendly and coffee and cakes...

£4 for half a toastie just like you’d make at home- it was tiny and not enough for my 2 year old, let alone 6 year old. Called a “kids” toastie but should really be called a toddler toastie. Came with 3 dry sticks of cucumber. I would expect a whole toastie for this price given its just two slices of ordinary brown bread with some cheese between. The £1.50 kids hot chocolate was good value however, and a £1 babycino also good value. The adult soup (£6) was nice but again came with incredibly boring bread (just ordinary sliced brown) which seems odd for an artisanal toastie company.

I had the pleasure of visiting Deeneys at the William Morris Gallery and was absolutely blown away by their incredible toasties! They truly have the best toasties I've ever had. The combination of flavors and quality of ingredients is simply outstanding. Not only that, but the staff were amazing—friendly, attentive, and truly passionate about what they do. A visit to Deeneys is an absolute must for anyone in search of delicious comfort food served with a smile. Highly recommended!
