First and last time visiting. The coffee is nice, the cakes I bought were average however my issue is with cakes being on top of the glass display case with staff and custkmers speaking directly on top of them - MAJOR hygiene problem! I wanted to try the cheesecake but could see saliva being sprayed directly onto it - disgusting!

However, staff forgot our toastie order, after 30 minutes we went up to the counter and they apologised and offered us cakes and said they would make them. 10 minutes later, the group next to us that came in 20 minutes after us received theirs and we were still waiting. We then went up again to find out what was going on and they did eventually show up 5 minutes later. Inside is a bit more like a busy cafe and maybe a bit difficult to get a table sometimes but it’s worth it to try the Macbeth toastie which you definitely can’t make at home as well. The haggis is so good, exactly how I have had in Scotland. It’s rich and savoury, and the bread is big and buttery. The sandwich is big enough to split with someone if you’re not too hungry.
