We were going to the theatre near by and stopped in for a drink. They normally do food, but the kitchen was out at the time. However, the landlord was happy for us the get some food from the takeaway down the road and eat in the pub while we drank from the bar. This place provides live music Friday to Sunday from about 9 pm. Fri/Sat open till 2pm. No lunchtime menu but chicken/burger takeaway nearby can eat it in pub. Large outdoor seating area at front. No rear garden. Some kind of special on Thursdays. Friendly staff and manager. Wide selection of buses outside and within 10 minutes walk North Middlesex Hospital. Not an ales pub.
