Just had a kebab from here not long ago today. Drove all the way to experience the kebab-shop-in-a-bus.
It is directly outside the main entrance of the Middlesex Hospital.
The price being 7.90 for a large kebab, but having said that, if you're eating in (upstairs), you get served on a wooden tray with rice, fresh bread, salad and the donner meat. So I would say it is not exactly overpriced, but about right considering the new normal price for a large lamb donner is £7.
The donner meat is in-house made, you can tell it is not from an external company like Vatan or from a random place.
The chilli sauce is very good too, better than most places.
Would I come here again ? If I'm in the local area, probably, but I wouldn't drive a long distance for it either. Is it a contender for Best Kebab in London ? Can it go up against Best Turkish Kebab in Dalston or Archway Kebab, or even Southgate Kebab ? I doubt it can compete against those, but I do see it somewhere in the top 10, which is very good considering this is...
Read moreI had the chicken doner meat, which was juicy, well-seasoned, and clearly fresh — really enjoyable. The bread was also a highlight: soft, tasty, and freshly made. The sauces added great flavour and tied everything together nicely.
The chips, however, were a bit underwhelming — quite soggy and lacking crispness. With some improvement, they could easily be brought up to the standard of the rest of the meal.
Paid £12.75 including drink

There was visible grime along the window seals and metal railings around knee height. A deeper clean and some investment into the seating and tables would really elevate the experience.
I do think it’s slightly overpriced for what it is, but I’d most likely eat there again if I were visiting the hospital across the road. Overall, decent food in a fun setting — just in need of a bit...

Then the man asked me what i have ordered and said that was large mixed kebab and not small. He than showed me the receipt telling me that yes you have ordered small and not large. I then replied that I’ve ordered large and that i got changed for a large mixed kebab. Them man kept arguing about it and was rather rude and then he offered me £1 coin back. I said to him that I’m not here to save money but came to get a large mixed kebab and go by my business. He then took the bag for another 5min in there and done what they’ve done, when i went home which is 2 streets from there (5min) it was filled in grease and burned meet. It went all in the bin and never ever will I buy any more from that place. Stuff there very rude and the food was so so bad that i had to bin it. It was...
