Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Didar Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The menu was bursting with authentic Indian dishes, and I decided to try the Lamb Jalfrezi and Prawn Masala. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of spices and flavours.
The Lamb Jalfrezi was tender and rich, while the Prawn Masala offered a delightful mix of succulent prawns in a perfectly spiced sauce. To complement the mains, I ordered a garlic naan, which was nothing short of excellent – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and wonderfully garlicky.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every part of our meal was enjoyable. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a fantastic meal.
Overall, Didar Restaurant provided a memorable dining experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch Indian cuisine. I will definitely...

I Ordered for the first time I live in the area. I was disappointed before I even opened the items as there was no smell, I expected to get an aroma. We ordered two seperate Chicken dishes but they look the same and both have no taste and very bland, the gravy tasted like soup.
They put cocunut nan and the garlic Nan in the same bag. I have never ordered an Indian and received two Nan in the sane packet.
My friend ordered a lamb tikka and I'm watching him chew it up and spit it out at the same time . He said it was tuff, hard!
The only thing that tasted decent is the sag aloo.
To top it off, it was cold and I live a 5 minute walk away.. What a waste of money and I'm still hungry ad have to look for some food to eat now!
Never again I will stick to Red Rose on Holloway road which is 2-3 miles away. This is the first and last...
Read moreJust ordered from here, never tried it before. As usual, the reviews are mixed. So, here goes. I have had many many curries in my time. The negative is the curries needed more meat. Thats the only one I have. We had 2 curries, lamd Mawabi and a Butter chicken, they tasted absolutely gorgeous. Also had a whole Tandoori chicken, so moist, fresh and amazingly spiced. Then we had as a side the most delicious Aloo Gobi. Highly recommend this place. It isnt high end but is a good staple British style Indian takeaway/restaurant. The negative comments seem people were expecting authentic, this place is not about that and thats not...
