Domino's Pizza - London - Old Street — Restaurant in London

I got into the shop and was looking at the menu on a wall. I had a question but there was no staff at the till; only pizza makers, so I couldn’t ask anything.

Then all of sudden a staff with a helmet on came in and inappropriately shouted at me to make a way for him to get to the till area. I was looking at the menu so I didn’t know if there was anybody behind me. The place is tiny so he didn’t have to shout out to communicate with me. (That big shout literally shocked all other customers. I thought it was absolutely outrageous!)

Then he stood at the till; looking moody and ‘can’t be bothered/can’t stand his job’ sort of attitude, asked if I wanted to order. I need a moment so I said so, then he left the shop again.

I decided my order after a minute or two, but he wasn’t coming back to the shop. After waiting for a while, I decided to check outside if he was around, then I noticed he was chatting/playing with another staff outside.

He came back in only when I asked if I could order. After taking my order, he hanged around in the kitchen. I couldn’t trust that staff so I anxiously observed him; wishing that he doesn’t handle the food at least.

Unfortunately?! he touched everything with his bare hands; playing with his keys, touching his runny noise, dropping dust from corners of the oven, playing with pizza tray which ended up falling on the ground which then put back up.. and finally he dealt with the cooked pizza!! Absolutely disgusting!! 🤮🤮🤮 I couldn’t believe the level of hygiene and customer service.

Also the pizza was really dry, poor, barely any cheese on top. It was worse then the ones from supermarkets.

Overall it was one of the worst experience in my life. I wish I didn’t decide to give it a go with Domino in UK.

I emailed their costomer service to report this. But they don’t seem to care.

Probably the most disappointing experience of a Dominos I've experienced. The nachos always come burnt and recently we have noticed the quality of our food deteriorating, the last time I ordered a pizza from here I was quite gobsmacked to find hair in my nachos, then putting them to one side lifted a slice of pizza to find yes, hair in my pizza too. I'm not particularly sure what is going on in this branch, but it seems like the owners have lost their passion and are banking purely on Dominos branding (being a franchise) I spoke to their head office and launched a formal complaint, whom seemed about as interested in the store itself in resolving the issue, made to seem like it was my fault. Anyway the FSA have taken interest and are happy to have had my report. Judging by what others have been saying sadly i wish i had just avoided this franchise but obviously won't be ordering from here...

Shocking Customer Service!! (Dominos Old Street, London)

tried to order online, website told me to call the store to place the order.

Called the store, they told me to try again online, and if it did not work to call back and they would sort it out. tried again and it didn't work, so i called the store again (as they told me to).

the person who picked up the second time I called was EXTREMELY rude, shouted over the phone that he will not help me and when I asked him what I can do to place an order, he just hung up the phone.

Literally the rudest person Ive spoken to over the phone while trying to order something. Dominoes should not hire people like this as Im sure this is not the standard of customer service they...
