nHow Islington will convince you to be an ExPat!
nHow Islington is now my home-away-from-home. They have a great team that toils hard to accommodate their guests’ every need. I asked for a room with a view, and they obliged me. I needed to change my booking dates – they seamlessly assisted me. This eco-friendly, pet-friendly, vegetarian/vegan friendly hotel is the right choice.
There are hundreds of places to stay in London. After weeks of searching, this great, beacon light of hope shone in a sea of indecision.
Mr. Pedro and company at reception answer every question and have whatever you have forgotten – tissues, shower cap, tooth brush, American electric adapter? They’ve got it! Use of mini fridges, slippers, and bath robes sweeten the deal. 24 hour gym access is great for NY jet lag. Need help finding the bus stop? They’ll point you in the right direction. Just bring your Google Maps app with you to the front desk. Don’t be scared! The bus system is so easy, efficient, reliable, and those double-deckers are fun to ride in. Just tap your phone – no metro card needed.
The breakfast Maître D, Mr. Cole, in the bustling lobby and busy restaurant makes you feel like the only person in the room. Mr. Cole goes out of his way to make sure that you have everything you want and need to feel welcome and sated. Breakfast is delicious! There’s something for everyone’s tastes and dietary needs. The wait staff is warm and welcoming. My compliments to the chefs.
The pasta dishes on the Guilty by Oliver restaurant menu are decadently delicious! I highly recommend the Comforting. I ordered my meals to the bar.
The talented bartender duo, Mr. Rey and Mr. Jahlani, barely break a sweat under pressure. Watching these masterful mixologists at work is pure magic. Even when they are super busy, they make work look EASY.
Shout out to the housekeeping crew. The hotel is Impeccably clean.
The unique style, the cleanliness, the large rooms, the safe, central location, the interesting locals, and the intriguing visiting travelers they attract is the basis for an amazing trip. I celebrate the diversity of their staff – hailing not just from Great Britain, but also West Africa, the Caribbean, South America, and beyond. Don’t break-up the band – this is an AMAZING team. I cannot praise them enough. Thank you for making my first stay in London glorious. See you...

Arriving at the Nhow Hotel feels less like checking in and more like stepping into a dream. The space is grand, luxurious, and futuristic, yet playfully quirky. Imagine Andy Warhol’s Factory at its most brilliant, reimagined for the modern traveler: bold, alive with color, and humming with energy.
At the heart of this living gallery are its unforgettable characters.
Behind the bar, Jelani, tall and handsome with an irresistible laugh, greets you as though you’ve been friends forever. His best mate Justin keeps the rhythm flowing beside him, together turning hospitality into a kind of performance art that feels effortless and alive.
Ali and Rey keep the atmosphere bright. Goofy, unpredictable, and full of charm, they remind you that true luxury is not silence or formality, but laughter ringing through a futuristic lobby where joy is always in season.
Pamela, the bar manager, carries the warmth of a mother. She has the gift of making every guest feel at home, offering not only flawless service but the sense that you truly belong.
Talita is the hotel’s secret delight, always ready with a snack or a small surprise tucked away, reminding you that care often lives in the little details.
Guiding it all is Ihan, the manager with a visionary’s eye. Always asking what could make a stay feel more complete, he curates every detail until perfection feels natural.
And when the evening winds down, the rooms themselves are a sanctuary. The beds are designed for indulgence, draped in silky linens and pillows that embrace you like a lover’s arms. It is the kind of sleep that feels decadent, the kind of comfort that makes you forget the world outside your door.
Together, this team transforms Nhow into something greater than a hotel. It is a futuristic playground dressed in luxury, a stage where hospitality becomes art, and every guest becomes part of the masterpiece.
At Nhow, luxury begins the moment you arrive and lingers long after you close your eyes against those...
Read moreI recently had a fantastic stay at nhow London, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel is simply exquisite—the quirkiest-designed interior I’ve ever seen. For anyone who loves London, this place is a London lovers paradise. The quirky design features London memorabilia and props throughout, creating a charming and immersive experience that’s both unique and captivating. So many photo opportunities I absolutely loved every detail.
The location is also incredibly convenient. Angel tube station is within a 10-minute walking distance, making it easy to explore the city. Additionally, the 55 bus from Tottenham Court Road after a shopping trip down Oxford street takes you directly to Old Street, which is only a 9-minute walk from the hotel.
The room itself was wonderful—clean, tidy, and very well-maintained. The quirky decor from the reception lobby and bar area continued inside the rooms. The design of the bedroom doors was unlike anything I’ve seen in other hotels (looked like a proper front door to a house), adding a special touch that made the experience feel even more distinctive. The homely atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and it really made me feel comfortable and relaxed during my stay.
The staff were exceptional—attentive, friendly, and always going above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt looked after. They couldn’t do enough for you, which added a personal touch to the entire experience. Cole was an absolute gem over breakfast, he had an amazing energy which could instantly lifted the mood and was singing and dancing at points around the buffet area. Pedro was on hand to assist and was so incredibly kind to my friend celebrating her birthday. He gave her a gift over breakfast as a token London takeaway which was really unexpected. Thank you Cole and Pedro for your kindness.
Overall, nhow London is a true gem in the city, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish and memorable...
