2/10/24 Great looking restaurant and a good alternative to Sen Viet. I do find it quite curious that the pho and summer rolls are almost identical to Sen Viet.
The broth in the pho at Dzo is a little darker, but everything else is similar. Summer rolls also have a very similar presentation.
Overall experience was quite pleasant.

How do you lose 3 stars you ask? I ordered a chicken pho, but was served a beef pho. Sent it back to the kitchen. They then return with the exact same bowl, only removing “most” of the beef and adding chicken. Imagine my disbelief. I sent it back again. 3rd times a charm right? Nope! Bowl was presented again with soggy noodles and in a distressed state.
The owners are cheap and inconsiderate. They saved 2£ by serving a recycled dish that their kitchen mistakenly served, and in the process lost a repeat customer. I also, for the first time in my life, requested that the service charge be removed. Good...
Read moreWe fancied Vietnamese and so I used trusty Google reviews and was reassured by the consistently high ratings for this eatery. We went along today (9 mins straight walk from Highbury & Islington station) to try it out. It was excellent. I had the spicy beef and pork noodles and the flavour of the broth was delicate but full bodied. The meat was tender and good quality and a generous sized portion for the price. My friend had the chicken hotpot curry and rice. Again, fresh and really yummy. Generous and filling portion Wonderful spicing. The vibrant morning glory with garlic was a fair sized portion and cooked perfectly al dente and was a fab accompaniment to our dishes. Service was polite and helpful and the environment very clean and welcoming. Will definitely come back. Authentic, quality food at a decent price. Highly recommend! 5 stars...
Read moreI stumbled upon this place over the weekend and decided to give it a shot, considering the soft launch offer which was very attractive. Upon sitting down with my partner, they were slow in servicing us which I thought was due to the fact that they were quite busy (maybe 3-4 tables of patrons at the time). However after we were done eating, it also took a long while to get their attention to pay (which was only allowed through cash or bank transfer). The food was tasty, but I got an awful stomachache when I returned home! I’m not sure if it was due to the bean sprouts I had with my pho as they tasted a bit old (and I thought nothing of it at the time). I would be hesitant to revisit given these factors, and there are many other Asian restaurants in the area. The pros is that the atmosphere was nice and the...
